Only player to come out with any credit is probably EMC, they can have 6. Bassette wasteful but at least got them turned. Other than that universally rubbish. Sheaf 7 first half 3 second. Whole team 0 second half.

Zeros all round and that’s being kind. One of the most pathetic performances since the dark days of Slade. Every single one of them should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Collins, da silva, Thomas, binks all -10

Bassette 2/10 and that’s just for the goal, completely wasteful all half and constantly offside and diving for no reason

Collins 0
Binks 0
JDS 0
EMC 6
Bassette 3
The rest not worth rating but marginally higher than 0

By the time I completed going back to the stands after the HT pint, it was 4-1. Had enough of this team’s shite defending.

We need change.

Lamps 0/10 for picking that defence, I said before kick off that we will need to score 3 to get a result, but not even I thought we could be that bad.

Yeah. Second half we just decided enough was enough and just gave up

One of the worst ever 45 mins from us, that.

I can't be arsed to score the players.

For the first 10 mins it was all 7's and 8's

Second half, pretty much all zeros.

I've been a fan of Bassett, thinking he was the answer to our goals, but if you cant beat a keeper on a one on one when you have the advantage of momentum and the keepers static, then I'm afraid you just aren't up to it. You should at his age have a few tricks in your locker, a step over, shimmy, drop of the shoulder disguise something to give you the advantage to send him the wrong way, but he has absolutely nothing and his going to ground at every challenge is now just getting on my nerves.

20's plenty old enough to know how to go around a keeper ffs. If you don't know basic stills by that age you never will. Yes you learn how to time runs, interact play and draw opponents, to make space for yourself and others with coaching, but dribbling?..... no that's something you either have or haven't. And he hasn't.

He's very raw but there's a player in there. Needs a bit of coaching and he'll come good. At least he puts a load of effort in too, and clearly shows he cares with some of the frustration. Can't say that for a lot of the team today.

Bollocks.

It's decision making. Not a basic hereditary trait.

Put it this way, collectively I think this team struggles to get a match rating as high as Callum 'Lucky' Lang's goal tally

Just out of interest, what did Collins do to earn the 3 points?

I think it was the way he gazelle-like, fished the ball back out of the net after each goal and sent it back, majestically towards the centre spot.

As soon as the opposition lift the intensity he's no good. He's ok in home games but away from home he's had many completely anonymous performances like that.

Robbie Keane was 19 when he went around the keeper for two of his first three goals for us. That said, he'd probably played significantly more games than Bassette at that point.

The one good piece of play from Collins all day to find him on the counter attack and he spaffs it out of play after aimlessly wandering sideways. The PNE injury has ruined his game and he's nothing like what he used to be.

Agreed, he's a passenger in far too many away games. BTA would at least give us a more physical presence and a goal threat.

Probably the same thinking Torp had in heading the ball to absolutely nobody when under no pressure
