6 is my default rating and I thought it was pretty average for large parts.

Collins - 5 - really not impressed today, ponderous at times.

MVE - 6 - more muted than he has been for a while, seemed the opponents’ pace was matching him up.
Thomas - 7 - decent performance, steadily improving.
Kitching - 7 - good enough at the back (missed the red card incident).
Bidwell - 5 - poor today both defensively and offensively.

Latibeaudiere - 6 - looked decent until he picked up a booking, seemed to drift away after that.
Eccles - 6 - not his best, bit rusty
Sakamoto - 8 - generally speaking wasn’t great but 2 goals, the second being a beautiful finish.
O’Hare - 6 - again, just seemed a bit off.
Wright - 6 - good at times, bad at times. Some of the passes he received from Bidwell were terrible.

Godden - 4 - nothing personal but absolutely nowhere today.

Palmer - 6 - alright at times.
Dasilva - 7 - looked decent today. Better than I’ve seen him in a little while.
Simms - n/a - not on long enough.

Collins - 5: Some poor kicking and another shot parried in front of the goal
MvE - 7: did OK, linked up well as always. Extra point for the 84 crowd cheers at the end
Thomas - 6: Some good stuff, some downright scary stuff as is his way
Kitching - 5: Was OK but loses a point for the sending off
Bidwell - 6: Felt he could use the ball better first half. Otherwise solid.
Latibeaudiere- 6: Solid breaking things up but his passing range makes Liam Kelly look like Glenn Hoddle
Eccles - 6: Some good stuff, but for me still does have the passing he should.
O’Hare - 6: Quiet game for him
Saka - 8: Two great goals and looked better as the game went on. Could have had a hatrick if Wright could pass at the end there.
Godden - 5: Not sure he touched the ball first half. No pace, no presence. Not the answer.
Wright - 7: A decent enough game and a good assist, looked dangerous.

Dasilva - 6: Was OK, some nice runs forwards
Palmer - 6: Didn’t quite come off for him
Simms - 5: Managed to not look better than Godden which is impressive in a way

Interested to see Haji's ratings. I genuinely don't know whether to give him a 5 or 8.

Involved in pretty much everything but his first touch is pretty dreadful.

Godden deserves the low marks but his movement just prior to the first goal had their defence all over the shop.

I have stopped trying to grade Wright. He will give you every emotion any given game and no matter what leave you knowing we haven't seen all yet. Im just not sure where or what his end of season stats will be but assists and goals will not be bad i don't think.

Wright seems to be ticking away with plenty of assists and okay goal scoring record. However his first touch is so bad, he seems lethargic at times and he's incapable of whipping a ball in. All that said he still starts every week for me. Very weird player and impossible to grade his performances

Team is starting to take shape. Glad everyone seems to be behind them now.

Collins 6
Van Ewijk 6 good defensively
Thomas 7
Kitching 7
Bidwell 6 solid but frustrating when he has the ball
Eccles 7 has his limitations but does most of the work well
Lati 6 personally not a fan of him in the middle. Doesn't move it quick enough and can't execute more difficult passes.
O'Hare 6 one of his quieter games since his return
Wright 7 danger man with moments where it just falls down
Godden 4 waste of a spot at this point
Sakamoto 8.5 had some quiet spells but so much quality

Subs
Palmer 7 something different and always tries to make things happen
Simms 6 didn't do a lot right or wrong
Da Silva 6 solid going forward and good blocks

Unfortunate miss from close range in the second half though.

I thought Sakamoto was pure class today , doing a lot of covering back on top of his attacking threat 9.
Godden very poor 4
Kitching & Thomas solid again 7
Not Bidwells best game 5.

I thought we had little clue how to break down a very poor team today. Surprised at the praise for Lati - would love to see his passing stats as it felt like he went backwards or sideways every single time. Whole team was slow and pedestrian with the ball over most of the pitch. From the starting XI I thought Thomas, Kitching and Saka were the only ones better than a 6 today.

Think you're the first person to mention the defensive side of his game, it was outstanding.

Surprised about the criticism of Bidwell. He made some really important defensive interventions and was so much better than at Sunderland.

Really dominated midfield and I thought Latibeaudiere and Eccles did well. Saka clearly motm. Wright great first half but not so much after the break. He has played a lot of football recently though.

Collins - 6
If he made a good save(s) in that mad scramble 2nd half, +1. Couldn't see from B4.

MvE - 7
Offered less going fwd 2nd half but so good defensively. Such a good signing for us.

Thomas - 7
One wobble 2nd half and a poor pass fwd or two 1st half but he did his job well today.

Kitching - 6
-1 for getting into a dumb situation at the end. Add +1 if footage shows he did nowt.

Bidwell - 6
Didn't look totally at it today. Still think he starts if fit. Want a bit more from my LB.

Eccles - 6
Too indecisive in attack today. Plays more like Sheaf in the middle 3rd than I realised.

Latibeaudiere - 6
Decent, good option in case of emergencies but not an answer in the middle at all.

O'Hare - 7
If a few things had come off - esp. between him and Wright - he'd have been MOTM.

Wright - 7
Faded 2nd half but consistently a good outlet, an assist, and links up well with COH.

Godden - 5
Pressed well. We don't play to his strengths in this system but still offered very little.

Sakamoto - 9
Extra mark for the 2nd goal. Great finish. Like MvE, didn't offer as much 2nd half.

Subs:

Simms - na
No time to judge. Should start on Fri.

Palmer - 7
A bit rusty but great option. Looks fit.

Da Silva - 7
Looked sharp. Helped move us fwd.

"Lati was good", dream on. Not quick enough of thought or good enough passer. The problems are in midfield

We all rave about him going forward but he covers very intelligently. How many corners did he head away today?
