Of course, but I think teams are going to see through our Plan B pretty quick if it consists of “Play it over the top for the quick guy to run after”. We’re not going to score goals like Gyokeres did against Sheff Utd every week in this division. League One and League Two, maybe.

Goals are scored like that in the Premier League. We're talking about an option to do something different, not a basis for 90 minutes play. IMHO, Hull's game plan was based on an assumption that we had no other play than the one they set up for. They were right.

The passing last night was poor across the whole team.
The first goal was from Hyam giving the ball away and then Moore showing very poor technique, diving over the ball. From that moment Hull were able to sit deep and have 11 players behind the ball, which worked very effectively.
The back three were disconnected at times, due to Hull stretching the play when they broke out.
Our build up play was too slow and allowed Hull to have a line of 5 and 4 players sitting in front, which we failed to break down. In contrast against SU we broke out at speed and created channels for our forward players.
Hamer was one of the few who was effective in this during the first half. O'Hare also tried, but had an off night.
Frustrating night, but this team has made really good progress since last year. PUSB

We rarely ever deviate from Plan A, the majority of our subs are like for like with the same system but even putting players out of position for it.

We don't mix it up and change shape or what we are trying, we just continue doing the same and then put other players on trying to do the same.

We can't play against teams like Hull who want to sit in. Our style of play works against teams who are open and want to play football. We need to change it against defending teams because like Dabo and Matseen last night there end result, ie crossing and passing is shocking. When was the last time Dabo put a ball in that created a goal. He never looks up Waghorn and a few others were waiting for Matseen to pass the ball through 3 players last night instead of thinking of the rebound.Derby will have a go as they have to so will suit us a bit better but we need more movement and creativity from all over the pitch.

O'Hare was poor last night. Certainly the worst I've seen him for a while. Real shame because he was panicking with every touch and pass. Something I thought would not have happened after his performance Saturday.

I thought first half he looked more confident and direct. Unfortunately second half he caught the shocking passing bug, though still had some good moments. I didn't think it was his worse game of the season.

It's irrelevant now but we are so wedded to 3 at the back we played sheaf in defence! When I saw the team I was wondering how the 3 in the middle of Sheaf with Allen and Hamer either side might go, how wrong I was!!

This is game plan against us that we can't find an answer to counter,it's something the coaching staff have to correct for next season.Over to you robins and staff.

This is why we were so poor.
The game plan didnt work and with no Robins,Adi or Lawrence we didnt have the ability to adapt.
For me this game showed how important good coaching is and the ability to change mid game.
Unfortunately Saturday is Derbys last chance to put a run together to avoid relegation and will be a very tough game, which can end our season.

I agree, I thought they were trying for a third at every opportunity. They defended in numbers when they didn't have the ball, and moved up when attacking. I thought they would tire but they didn't.

Not too sure we would have adapted even with them there?

Watching robins he seems to struggle as well so it is a weakness he needs to improve against.
