Not sure anybody had a good game. Hamer with a decent finish.

Jcs did well too.

Robins and his pre arranged subs again pointless, for about the last 25 - 30 minutes we had so much space going forward but he stood watching.

Hamer looked OK. Kane looked our only outlet second half. Godden actually looked sharp. Other than that, shite.

Based on the first half alone you can't give 7s out IMO ..

Kane stepped forward like a toddler to open us up for the first so loses a point on whatever his rating is ..

Sheaf lazy pass in midfield fucked us for their third , so loses a point , maybe 2 actually for his contribution to being dinked in midfield for their second by a fucking keeper .

Fadz loses 1 or 2 points for his role in the third and role in the second

Rose some blame for the first ..

Nobody today over a 6

Cannot carry on playing a left back in midfield.

What a complete an utter waste of a playing position.

Just unbalances our team and no matter how well he plays it cannot continue.

Try as I might I cannot see what Bidwell brings to us...not the best at passing crossing is utterly useless he just looks lost ...too slow totally baffling...get rid of Kasta and Dacosta then brings in another lemon

Yea I'd agree somewhat but ultimately its down the middle, Sheaf and fadz really allowed a ball to be dinked between the lines from there is tragic

Yeah the second goal was just pathetic, but part of that is having a back line that sits so deep

Honestly don't see anything in Maatsen. Beyond wasteful at wing back. Looks a fish out of water in the attacking midfielder roles, particularly when he has his back to goal (which is understandable).

Moore 5 - maybe could have done better for second goal.

Bidwell 4 - seems to not yet possess a first touch. Only a second

JCS 6 - best of our defenders today

Rose 5 - think he had taken a half a valium in the interval

McFadz 4 - didn't realize you could get slower than "stationary"

Hamer 5 - extra point for scoring a goal and not celebrating because he knew we were shit today

Sheaf 4 - had the other half of Roses valium. Would be nice if he met Hamer one day in training and they learnt how to exchange passes with each other

Allen 5 - think he played. Sometimes gets lost in the long grass

Kane 5 - attempted some crosses

Gyokeres 4 - sometimes a bit selfish, had a couple of good opportunities gifted to him today that other players would have done better with

Waghorn 5 - set up the goal I think? Still don't like him.

Maatsen 5 - better at left wing back. Needs to get in the weights room or get bullied mercilessly by the other players until he becomes horrible.

Godden 5 - good effort on goal after coming on. Largely anonymous after that.

Swansea 8 - good team. Not sure why they're not up there. Grimes and Obafemi very good. "Can we play you every week" - no of course not, it's against the rules and besides, I would not enjoy it.

Grimes is one of the best midfielders in the league, surprised they held on to him

Moore 5

Beaten 3 times, and again when there was a late offside call and again when an offside striker hit the post and Moore punched it in his own net. Bad day at the office.

Kane 8

Did well and was our best attacking threat. On another day 2/3 assists. Looked sharper than of late.

Rose 6

Part of a defence that conceded 3. Couple of sloppy balls.

McFadzean 5

Outpaced too often and just not the rock he was. Earlier in season I’d have said extend his contract. Now? £1000 a week, help the squad, take or leave.

Clarke-Salter 6

So so. Not his best game.

Bidwell 4

“Needs time”. GTF. Just really really poor today.

Sheaf 5

Is anyone allowed to say he was poor today without the usual Emperors New Clothes apologists telling us that we are thick for not seeing how great he is? He was crap today. That dithering, losing the ball and looking to the sky rather than chasing back shitplay crept back in today. He’s been better of late - but he was shite today.

Hamer 7

Bang average but + 1 for goal. He has quality.

Allen 5

Pushed around a bit today. Not brilliant.

Maatsen 7

He is quality but was unlucky today. I like him.

Gyokeres 6 (just)

Isolated. Maybe playing against defenders who know his runs. Fluffed 2 great chances.
Another day, different story.

Godden 6

So so.

Waghorn 4

So shite.

Struggling to see how anyone can be much above a 5. I feel really sorry for anyone that travelled today. Hopefully they took enough cocaine in the toilets to numb the pain.

Waghorn better than goalscoring Gus?

It’s a view I guess.

I'm taking their overall contribution during the time they were on the pitch.
Apart from his goal Hamer was poor.
Waghorn wasn't that bad when he came on and nicely picked out Hamer for the goal.

Not sure how Allen can be given the worst or near the worst rating. He was the only one who didn't give the ball away cheaply and chased down for 90 minutes.

In the last couple of seasons, I've lost count of the number of times McFadzean has given opponents a couple of yards by wasting his time putting his hand in the air and looking at the officials. It's a baffling schoolboy error, considering his experience and how mature he is in every other aspect of his game.

Sheaf, Bidwell and Waghorn truly dreadful.

Kane, Allen, Fadz and Moore not much better.

Gyökeres missing his big chances.

Can't understand why we wouldn't have brought on Tavares for a run out rather that playing waghorn if he was ill it beggars belief

Didn’t go today and sounds like it wasn’t good by anyone’s reckoning, that said, very odd comment as their link up has probably been the highlight of our entire season

For anyone that moans about OHare see today. No threat without him.

Blame the manager for today too, set us up wrong called the changes needed at HT and he didn't make them. Even at 3down he didn't try anything different even in shape to try 4 at the back. Went 2 up top by removing a midfielder where we were already over run.

Fadz waving his arm around for the first instead of playing to the whistle didn't help and can't believe kane given motm 7 ratings here, personally thought he was abysmal today. For me only JCS came out with any credit. Nice finish by Hamer but most of his silly flicks gave away possession. Not going down, so need to sort something ahead of Tuesday and have a good go at Luton or season could quickly tail off with a whimper.

I would agree with that but I make JCS just about our best player today covers our vulnerable left side well.

I agree with a lot of that, but we did create some decent opportunities. Had we been as clinical as them we would have (undeservedly) got something from the game.

I think today proved we don't have the same energy without O'hare and adds a great deal to our play, but we were still getting chances in front of goal.

Now you could argue the bulk of those came when we were already 3 down and so maybe Swansea had taken the foot of the gas a bit. But we've said in previous games playing this box formation that Gyokeres looks isolated and we aren't creating much.

That’s the poorest I’ve seen us play for a long time. We were consistently 5-6 out of 10 across the whole team. Robins needs to occasionally give a flair player a start, Jodi Jones, Tavarres etc.
