We’ll easily hit 50 points. We’re having a good season. The doom and gloom is bizarre. I do agree the standard has dropped from recent years but it’s still a tough league and we have progressed in a few ways from last year.

We were 100% the better side in every department and our press first half was very good. We’re just toothless in the box.

In every department bar attacking and defending? They won 2-0, missed an absolute sitter and Moore made a fantastic save first half. We had one meaningful chance.

IMO that Bidwell performance was pathetic and he showed himself up.

Didn’t try to race back for second goal. No impact going forward and tracked backwards slower than the Russian troops on the Ukrainian border.

He was poor. He gets a poor mark.

3 & Half years we’ve got the rolls Royce for but on early signs it’s not great just can’t see how he’s a wingback tbh looks a flat 4 player

Well, that was the stereotypical cold, wet night in February in Cardiff with two tired and leggy teams.
The main difference between them was one coach wanted to win and bought on forward thinking players, one of whom scored and one who seemed reluctant to take a chance to win.
Hugill is dross, but I wish Waghorn was half as good as him, and Harris and Doyle are both younger than Tavares so that fucks the theory he’s too young/inexperienced right off.
I don’t understand Robins’s thought process sometimes, I would have used Jones for Allen and Tavares for Shipley. On to Baaarnsley then.

To be fair, if you were in the ground, you'd have put similar. The things you don't usually see on sky were the issue with Bidwell. His horredous movement and runs hampered our attack down the left.

I saw it totally differently.

Bidwell was at fault for the second goal. Got nowhere near his man, no urgency to try to get a block in and the game is therefore over.

His movement off the ball offered little outlet, no pace for balls over the top, most passes he received in the top half ended up becoming get and pass back rather than get and turn forward. Movement off the ball in our system is key and Bidwell lacked.

Kane at least seemed to have some energy and movement.

If you think Bidwell did well than that’s your opinion. I see things as I see them.

Agree with most of that. Bringing in JCS meant we were stronger on left of defence. Shipley could have gone to LM / LWB, Waghorn to keep bench warm, Maatsen in Shipley’s original role. Maatsen offers pace and movement and the ability to get to the byline and / or cut in and cross / shoot.

Waghorn was a strange sub to say the least. Maatsen on right wasn’t right.

Jones possibly for Allen but I must say Allen “heel nipping” of late has been a positive so he was fine staying on.

Now, I’ve been banging on that we don’t have a physical player to come in for Gyok. I’ll stand by that. We need a James Collins type in the squad.

Think Collins is out of favour at Cardiff, their fans don’t rate him at all

Strange to say, I’ve looked on QPR’s board and they are echoing everything on here, just related to Warburton and their team. We’re not the only ones conducting an inquest

I think Waghorn was brought in as that alternate to get physical when necessary.

So because Cardiff have two young players who are good enough for their first team, Tavares is magically good enough to play for us too?
