Walsh had another good game, Westbrooke, Shipley and Godden may as well have stayed at Ryton.

Agree with this. A number of players in desperate need of a rest.

I’m surprised no changes were made after a big game on Saturday where a few players looked weary.

Could understand if there was a serious drop off in quality but replacing Shipley and Westbrooke with O’Hare and Allen is probably an increase in quality

Marosi 8 - few good saves tonight and kicked well considering the conditions
Rose - 7 Been a bit bit quiet in the last few games but still steady
McFadzean - 8 has put a string of performances together in the last few games
Hyam - 8 helped deal with their dangerous strikers well
Dabo 6 - got forward better than Sam but wasted all his balls into the box tonight
McCallum 6 - looked tired today and didn't get forward enough
Kelly 7 - have actually felt he's not been up to his usual levels in the last 5 or 6 games but he's still super steady.
Walsh 8 - Anything good that came from us he was involved in
Shipley 4 - when he's good, he's good but when he's bad, he's bad.
Westbrooke 5 - fairweather footballer and tonight the weather was not fair.
Godden 5 - his role requires a massive effort but no excuse for some of his offsides

O Hare 7 - Should have started
Biamou 6 - won some headers and held the ball up but he and Godden have little understanding together.

Robins 5 - Un-changed team was a mistake, didn't learn from the problems we caused them in the last game and also left the type of players that could hurt Fleetwood on the bench. You can tell within minutes of a match if he's happy with a point or not by looking at the starting position of the fullbacks and tonight they didn't get forward enough first half.

Sounds like Shipley needs resting. He’s played a lot but hasn’t been great last couple of games...wasn’t great against Bristol rovers either.

Gotta say westbrooke was diabolical tonight. Shipley about 0.5 a mark better than him. Shocking

honestly ?

that sort of comment i would expect if he gave a pen away in 4th min and got sent off. He was off the pace and was poor, diabolical he wasnt

I marked Shipley lower primarily for that horrendous blind square pass 30 yards from his own goal. That should have been a goal for them.

I stand by it. Never seen a midfielder run away from a 50/50 so many times as he does. He was slow, ponderous, constantly going backwards or playing one touch passes back to where it came from. He looked scared out there today for me. Walsh and kelly demanded it. Westbrooke hid and was rightly hooked

Westbrooke killed our attacking play every time he got the ball. Either dithered on it and let them get men back or passed it backwards.

Marosi 7 Couple of routine saves.

Dabs 7 Good but final ball lacking.

McCallum 4 Had a bad night capped off by the caution.

McFadzean 8 Dark arts from him aswell.

Hyam 7 Alongside McFadz didn’t really have any of their nonsense.

Rose 8 Solid again.

Westbrook 4 Good job half time came when it did or he may have been off even earlier!

Shipley 4 Couldn’t find a team mate all night and was rightly subbed-lots of games catching up with a couple of players.

Walsh 8 MOM and the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Kelly 7 Kept us ticking over in the middle.

Godden 4 Didn’t get into the game and was offside on par with Baka in the past.

Subs O’Hare 6 Maybe should have had a penalty in the last minute?

Biamou 5 Didn’t really affect the game apart from one half hearted shot that went 5 yards wide.

One of them games where if you are not going to win the game then do not lose it and take the point. Conditions and Fleetwoods tactics and spoilers ruined the game as a spectacle but another point which we need to follow up with 3 on Saturday.

Would love to know how many games this season that Walsh has been the overall Man of the Match based on SBT ratings. What a signing (albeit loan for now) he’s proven to be, an absolute asset

Agree generally but I’d knock a point off each of Kelly and Rose for some sloppy passing at times

Just got back, I thought Godden improved when he had Max alongside him and Walsh was MOM and again, plays better when O’Hare is on, wants to link up with him more and allowed us to player higher up the field, Shipley and Westbrooke didn’t didn’t do that.
Kelly below his best
Defence solid agains dirty strikers

All round nasty team

Yeah just heard that hopefully not, he's looked good now last few times we've seen him, robins still has options though in Jamie Allen and O'Hare to replace Shipley and Westbrooke , I imagine he'll be swapping one or both wing backs Saturday also

Interested in why you though McFadz was only a 6? Thought he lead a fairly high line excellently yesterday and using their 1 non-injury related sub to replace Madden was telling. He did let one ball bounce in the box 2nd half that looked like it was going to end in a goal but then threw himself in the way to block the shot.

Didn't have a bad game at all, just think rose and hyam used the ball better looked for better options moving forward where as a couple time mcfadzen chose to clip channel and like you say the little slip up in second half, all 3 centre backs played well in tough conditions just thought rose and hyam were better
