I hadn't read your reply re: player of the tournaments (which, in truth, I hadn't realised) but time will tell. Obviously, if he is that good, he ought to shine (like Maddison) when he is given the platform. Not sure Man U would be the best fit at his age, particularly in their current state, Is he the player who has his dad as his agent?

Liam Walsh - 10. Best player we have by a mile. If we go up, we need him at his best. Bloody love him.

Steward was telling me about it before the game. Apparently £10m up front and rest is dependant on success and England appearances etc. He also said that the lads dad isn’t happy about the possibility of him leaving.

Nah he'll be on silly money for that and could have his career finished next week. Good luck to him. Didn't see that he was clearly a player today outclassing sam though, if anything I thought he was in Sam's pocket.

We never played as fluent as we can because of them closing us down but once we settled into the game I never felt we were going to lose. terrible terrible miss by O'hare and Shipley was fucking woeful today...we need the goal scoring Shipley back not the one who showed up today

As I said on the other thread, whilst we were the better team and a very good league one team, you cant really draw conclusions from a one off 1 cup game, which was also a proper local derby and played in bizarre circumstances (I.e. landlord vs tenant). Being championship quality is about playing at that level consistently over 46 games. That's not to say they may or will not get there.

Nah bruv, I'm just making a quick simple judgment. Couldn't give a fuck about your 46 game quality measure

Marosi 7 - clean sheet, can’t ask for much more?
Dabo 6.5 - looked good going forward , but I was glad when they took montero off
Rose 8
Mcfadzean 8 MOTM
Hyam 8
McCallum 6
Kelly 7
Walsh 8
Shipley 4 did he think we were playing in yellow??? Couldn’t pass wind today let alone a football
Westbrooke 6 can pick a pass
Godden 6 got no service at all but worked his arse off

O Hare 4 don’t care how much you change a game, that miss is unforgivable, if it had been Baka he would of been slated
Biamou 6.5
Bakayoko-7 won a few headers and set up O’Hare for the winner , did his job for the short time he was on the pitch

Baka would have scored it.

Hyam 7
Fadz 7.5
Dabo 7
McCallum 6.5
Kelly 8
Walsh 9
Shipley 5
Westbrooke 5.5
Godden 6

Biamou 7
O'Hare 5.5 (the miss is worth at least -1 on it's own)
Baka 6.5 (didn't have long but put the ball back for O'Hare perfectly)

Dabo possibly. McCallum if someone offers some money but can’t see anyone else really being obvious targets
