Marosi 7 - clean sheet, can’t ask for much more?
Dabo 6.5 - looked good going forward , but I was glad when they took montero off
Rose 8
Mcfadzean 8 MOTM
Hyam 8
McCallum 6
Kelly 7
Walsh 8
Shipley 4 did he think we were playing in yellow??? Couldn’t pass wind today let alone a football
Westbrooke 6 can pick a pass
Godden 6 got no service at all but worked his arse off

O Hare 4 don’t care how much you change a game, that miss is unforgivable, if it had been Baka he would of been slated
Biamou 6.5
Bakayoko-7 won a few headers and set up O’Hare for the winner , did his job for the short time he was on the pitch

Walsh was definitely the stand out for me, absolute quality. McFadz not far behind. I actually thought Dabo was our weakest performer in the first half, but grew into the game. Shipley started really well but faded.

I was actually disappointed by Birmingham today, totally uninspiring performance. Their left winger was the only one who looked like he could do us some damage in the first half. Definitely not a division between us quality wise.

Think 6 for Godden is a bit harsh. He worked really hard against the only 2 outfield players in their team who looked championship quality.

Worked hard chasing down the channels but offside too often for me today, especially first half. Thought he was dominated in the air all match too.

Agree with all that but I've posted on here before about Kelly's shooting. It's the only thing letting his game down. 4 more tpday with 0 on target. Must be on a run of about 500 shots without a goal. Has scored 1 in over 100 games, but can't remember it. Does tge easy things well but please give the ball to someone else.

Have to say a lot of noise is made about Bellingham, all the top clubs are after him apparently McCallum had him in his pocket all game totally different level.Mcfadz is the player we thought we signed,Walsh was on another planet today some of his touches were amazing fierce in the tackle also ran rings round them with ease,Shipley was very poor,Godden was back to feeding off scraps. All 3 subs made an impact even Baka for the cross header was perfect.

Bellingham is on a completely different level to McCallum as a talent which is no slight on him as he’s the best player in Europe for his age

Big statement how do you know the level of talent in Europe ? I wouldn’t say he’s on a completely different level either

Well he’s been in 2 competitions with England featuring all the top nations and won player of the tournament at them both

Also I would have thought a club apparently bidding for £30m for him would be a bit of a giveaway - also being 16 and playing in the Championship

Godden isn't as effective if Shipley and Westbrooke are sat further back like they were today, that's the cost of trying to maintain discipline. Shipley has been pretty mediocre for a few games now, be good to see Allen get a run out.

Can’t disagree with these marks much. Thought we gave them too much respect first 20 minutes which meant both Shipley and Kelly gave the ball away too much. Then we started to play our game at our pace. From then on for me we were the better team and looked more likely to win it. Thought Walsh was best player on the pitch today by some way.

Agree totally, I dont expect goals from him, but he averages 3 to 4 shots a game. I wish he wouldn't and continue to just give it to someone else to shoot instead.

I don't disagree. They were very physical and athletic. It wasnt his best game. I thought he was too high in the first half and the gap between him and kelly and walsh was too big

First 15 minutes we were pushed back and McFadz had a couple of heart in the mouth moments with his passing, from then on we grew into it. Would have been nice to see the ball switched a few times when McCallum/Dabo were in acres of space, but it's easier to see from the back of Block 9 than it is at ground level, After the first few minutes of the second half I thought we were the better team, and the introduction of the subs was perfectly times, and almost worked like a dream.
All 3 centre backs and the wingbacks performed well, but McFadzean was my MOTM - made some brilliant defensive headers and marshalled Jutkewicz (?) really well.
Thought Biamou's cameo showed all that is good and bad about him, causing far more havoc than Godden had, but then not passing/running the ball out of play. Could have scored as well, should have gone for power rather than placement.
