Marosi 7 - not tested. could not be faulted for their goal.

Dabo 7 - hard not to like his energy and drive
Rose 6 - very comfortable, 1 misplaced pass to Marosi
Hyam 6 - very comfortable, not tested
McCallum 8 - a real talent

Westbrooke 7 - doesn't grab the headlines but does his job, fantastic set up in the box to Godden
Walsh 7 - a quality player and perfect for our possession game
Shipley 7 - seems to be everywhere doing the hard yards

Hiwula 6 - created all kinds of problems as part of the front 3 for 70 minutes, if only he could have finished
Godden 6 - similar to Hiwula, 1 of those chances has to go in and it's a very different game
O'Hare 6 - started very brightly then faded. in my opinion he's more influential as our attacking midfielder

Subs:
Kast 6 - love his direct running, probably the perfect sub if we are leading 1-0 and playing on the counter
Mason 6 - slotted in straight away

Before anyone goes mental about the ratings being too high, we had 70% possession, created lots of chances, bossed the game and had 19 shots. Then we lost. That's football when you don't convert your chances.

Forgot to mention - I personally enjoyed Dabo's 'retribution challenge'. Stupid yellow card admittedly but always like a player who stands up for his team mates and plays on the edge.

Keeper 7 spectator most the game, other than having to keep out an over hit back pass first half
Dabo 6 thought was poor going forward first half but decent 2nd. Knocked a mark off as thought he was at fault for goal, haven’t seen it back yet
Rose 8 motm
Hyam 7
Mccallum 6 why did he start over mason?
Walsh 6 only starts playing well in second halves.
Westbrooke 7
Shipley 6
Hiwula 6 had to score
Godden 5 had to take one of those chances.
Ohare 6 not so effective wide right.

Marosi 6 good passing. Remains to be seen if he can make the big saves. Not saying he won't!

Dabo 7 got forward well and somw good interplay

Rose hyam 6 solid but poor long range passing

Mcallum 5 doesnt attack enough for me

Walsh 7 good passing

Shiplwy 6 some killer balls but poor in tackle and sloppy passes

Westbrooke 7 worked hard ans good on ball

O hare 6 looked dangerous when got ball but didnt hapoen much conpared to ehen in middle

Hiwulla 4 good movement but shite finishing and confidence affecting hid touch and passing too

Godden 4 alwaya offside and missed some good chances

Kastaneer 4 did nothing worthwhile

Mason 5 bit bwtter than mcsllum but always happy to go backwards rather than attack bylinr

Could be an MCL as it his knee jarred to the left on landing! ACL's normally when the leg goes backward and twists. Ref didnt say fuck all to the guy who made a back for him!

Only me that thought Westbrooke was far too powder puff? OK he did some good back heels, but is far too soft. Could have done with Kelly instead of him out there. Other than that I thought we were pretty good bar the finishing. Dabo excellent and motm

Agree he isn't what you called combative but his movement created the space for Dabo to get forward, also superb composure to set Godden up

I can appreciate Walsh is a tidy little player and good for this level but I don’t think he was one of our better players today. Tries the Hollywood pass one too many times for my liking and it can be so frustrating, when it comes off it’s great but what about the amount of times it doesn’t. I don’t think we played poorly today just lacked the killer instinct to finish the game off when we had chances against a team not up to par with us footballing wise. Thought Dabo and Westbrooke stood out for me the most today.

I’d agree with all that apart from marking godden down 1 for his getting caught offside so often.

Im not sure id change anything from he OP to be honest. This very much reminded me of last season (dominating a game without scoring and then conceding late) which is so frustrating. I do feel we are better than last season and this will just be a blip, we should be back to winning ways soon if we can keep the overall play at a similar standard.

Marosi- 6
Dabo - 7
Rose - 6
Hyam - 6
McCallum - 6 - Back 5 had nothing to do

Walsh - 6
Shipley - 6
Westbrooke - 6 - all 3 knocked it about well, few decent balls, but a fairly easy game for them.

O'Hare - 6 - looked neat and tidy, but was lacking something, prefer when hes playing through the middle.

Hiwula - 4
Godden- 4 - Yet another game these 2 are costing us points, what are they doing in training? 1 on target from 17 is dreadful. Need to give 2 a go up front, I'm not the biggest fan of Max, but he got the best out of McNulty, so I wouldn't mind giving him a chance and going slightly more direct.

Passed it about well, never looked dangerous in the final third, I think we're too slow in our build up play sometimes and give the opposition time to reset.
