To anyone who says Conor Thomas can pass, he received the ball in the first minute and was under no pressure, but he still managed to pass the ball straight out of play.

Allsop - 6 can't be blamed fit with goal. Had nothing else to do.

Phillips 6 would love to see him for the whole game.

Willis 7 really good bar one mistake

Hines 6 looks a little cumbersome

Webster 6 not a lot to do

Pugh 6 steady Eddie never did the wing back tool as in trying to get to the by line to cross. Never charged at the defenders like Haynes does.

Thomas 6 solid first half lost his way in the second half. Needs his role clearly defined.

Obrien - 6 the strikers need to understand that he wants to play them in. They would not make those runs.

Fleck - 6 better version of Obrien

Jackson - 6 frustrating the one time he ran past the last man he got a goal.
Needs to be making those runs all the time.

Mcqoid 6 lots of potential just can't see where he will fit in.

Coulibaly - 8 can in confident has trick and ran at the opposition. Wanted the ball there was no fear.

Clarke - 7 best I have seen him play. Although he is not a wing back

Formation needs changing so Coulibaly can play.

SP has a big decision to make and for me it would be drop Obrien in order to change the formation. Fleck can do the creative role. Thomas the tackling role. We don't have natural wing backs so it makes sense to change.

obrian fan play right midfield so would not even have to be dropped. He has good crossing ability too hence he is our free kick taker. Nouble and Jackson would thrive from good balls into the box. Imagine if we had Haynes a LEft midfield the amount of dangerous balls opponents defences would have to face up to in 90 minuets.

Your post would be relevant if people said he has never misplaced a pass, and of course no one has.

What is it with people wanting to play a fullback in midfield?? There were poster clamouring for christie to be played right wing. Just because Bale made the transition doesn't mean every other attacking fullback can be moved there.

In fairness I was not one of those asking for christie to play RM and Haynes he looks like he has much more to offer in the final 3rd.
I am keen to see the team have balance and with Haynes and Obrian being the best crossers we have I was just offering an opinion that they would create lots from wide positions for our forwards.

If you don't agree thats fine, football forums are all about opinions.

As for the Bale referance that was not even in my thinking - great point however lol

Just watched the highlights again. Allsopp should be saving the first, it's nowhere near the corner, wasn't hit particularly hard and he just reacted far too late.

Time to give Burge a go.
