Wilson - 8 - did everything well, good kicking
Dabo - 9.5 - vintage Dabo, class
Ostigard - 9 - won so much in the air and great on the deck, vital late challenge
Fadz - 8 - won everything
Hyam - 6 - decent but they had a bit of joy on his side and going to ground on Parrott stupid
McCallum - 8 - brave, strong, energetic and always productive on the ball
Sheaf - 9 - best he’s played for a long time, tidy and clever on the ball, won so much ball, and great driving runs
Hamer - 8.5 - awesome as per, he’s a genius
Shipley - 8 - great hour from Shippers, showed some confidence again
O’Hare - 9.5 - would’ve been a 10 if he scored, did everything for us today, work rate exceptional but had the quality as well
Biamou - 7 - worked really hard and created some good opps

Giles - 7- really good half an hour

Must say fair dos to Shipley for shutting up the critics, including myself, with a strong performance today. Justified his selection completely

Agreed, he had one of his better games. His one strength is his ability to get a goal.

He's willing to have a crack and was very unlucky not to score early second half.

Nervy last 20 but their keeper made 3 or 4 outstanding saves. Otherwise it would have been a stroll.

Wilson 7 (one good save and a couple of others. Kicking wasn't so good)
Dabo 9 (great ability to have the ball stick to his feet. Some great attacking play)
Ostigard 8 (solid defending and important block in injury time)
McFadzean 8 (defended well and some lovely touches)
Hyam 6 (silly penalty. Slow to react when Fadz beaten in the air, which led to chance)
McCallum 6 (good first half. Out of position a couple of times though, almost costly near the end)
Sheaf 9 (much quicker on the ball making some great steals and linked play very well)
Hamer 10 (motm. All over the pitch, creating chances, blocking shots, intercepting and scoring. Unlucky not to have 2. Hope we can hold on to him)
O'Hare 9 (much better with final ball and first touch. Still occasions when end pass disappointed. Running off the ball was phenomenal. Unlucky not to score)
Shipley 8 (best game of the season. 2 good long range efforts. Looked sharper with his defending)
Godden 6 (such a shame for him and us. Looked like recurrent injury)

Biamou 7 (held the ball up well, especially last 10 minutes when we were hanging on a bit)
Giles 7 (denied goal by great save)

Wilson - 7.5 - one roll out that put Hyam in trouble aside , did what he had to do well
Dabo - 9 has one weakness, he’s not great in the air, that aside I can’t remember us having a better rb/rwb?
Ostigard - 9 lock him in the training ground and get him on a pre contract for the next 4 years
Fadz - 9 - class MOTM
Hyam - 6 lost his man and stupid pen to give away , solid at everything else
McCallum - 7.5 lost his man once at the end but otherwise decent game
Sheaf - 8 sign him now, get him a years experience in this league and next season he is going to be one of our best players
Hamer - 9 will just enjoy him while he’s here - too good for us
Shipley - 6.5 you know it’s a good day when he doesn’t look out of place
O’Hare - 8 would of been 9 but that chance at the end HAS to go in, otherwise he was a pain the arse all afternoon
Biamou - 7.5 Such an unselfish performance , has his limitation admittly, but held it up quite well and bought others into play.

Giles - 7.5 without their keeper he’d of had 2 today

Best performance of the season so far. Deserved more goals. Best cov performances so far from sheaf and o hare. Pen was frustrating - completely unnecessary. Defence was great though. Our passing football was to the standard of last season, godden would have got at least 1 goal if didnt have to go off. Not a bad performance from anyone.

Wilson 6

Didn’t have much to do. Some of his kicking was a bit sketchy. Can’t remember any keeper having to face as many penalties in such a short space of time, has he guessed the right way many times?

Østigard 7

I tbought he did well.

McFadzean 8

Commanding performance from the skipper.

Hyam 5

Marked down for the penalty give away

Dabo 8

Was unplayable for the first half, slowed down toward the end. He’s just a very capable player at this level.

Hamer 7

Scored. The fact that his original shot was just a hit and Hope notwithstanding, a good performance. His ball delivery wasn’t the usual quality but he kept running and fighting and running back to help defend. Important block towards the end defending the right corner of the penalty area.

Sheaf 7

Probably the best game that I’ve seen him play to be fair, particularly whilst Shipley was the pitch.

McCallum 6

not a bad performance

O'Hare 8

The lad never stopped and must have ran further than any other player on the park. Caused them problems all game. He needs a goal to sort his confidence out, it can fly in off his arse but as soon as he’s better I think he’ll start shooting.

Shipley 7

Chosen over Allen and with hindsight a good move. Not afraid to shoot and so long as his left foot is in the pitch then there’s a chance of a long range effort / rebound / post being hit. Was in the right place e fit the first goal. How many times this season have we seen a cross go
Over the the striker at the near post/side only to have no one follow it up or have ran the wrong way (Allen)? Anyway, he was in the right place. Could have had a hat trick on a different da

Godden 6

Hope he gets fit soon.

Subs

Biamou

Not brilliant, not totally terrible, but not his day today. Didn’t look full of running and pressure.

Wilson - 7 - couple of routine saves, brilliant time wasting.

Dabo - 9 - brilliant game.

Ostigard - 8 - big headers, great block at the end.

McFadz - 8.5 - our most skillful defender.

Hyam - 6 - awful decision making giving away the penalty.

McCallum - 7 - not as good going forward on our left at the moment. Got bailed out by Ostigard after losing Zohore.

Sheaf - 9 - great game, some lovely skills too, conducted things today minus gifting the opposition anything.

Hamer - 8.5 - great game, it's mad he's scored so many goals for us given his position; the lad can shoot. Incredible work ethic defensively at the end closing down one player, then sprinting past Giles to do his job for him too.

Shipley - 7.5 - good game. His influence on the ball isn't always great. But he is like playing with two strikers because he is desperate to score. Created space for us. Bet he wishes football matches lasted 60 minutes.

O'Hare - 8.5 - His energy closing down is second to none. Only him and Hamer seem to be able to close down the opposition quickly in the closing minutes. Should have scored. Should have got a few final balls right, but everything was going through him today.

Godden - 6 - Not really on the pitch long enough, probably would have scored today too.

Biamou - 7 - Some great defensive play at the end when we needed him the most. Anonymous for a lot of the game, felt he took too long to get his shot away for that chance from O Hares pass.

Giles - 6 - Decent attempt on goal and caused a bit of chaos running at their full back. At the end he didn't seem as keen on grafting / closing down as some of the others.

Millwall - 0 - Racist fans, awful team, awful style of play.

Ref - 6 - Wheres our pen ref? Millwall could and should have picked up a couple of extra yellow cards for cynical fouls in the final 3rd when we were counter attacking.

We didn't struggle a bit second half tbh, we should have wrapped the game up but we still were generally in control

Some great performances. Dabo would have the nod but for a quieter second half. It's time we looked at the defenders, consistently good. Ostigard was again superb today. Sheaf was class and Hamer everywhere and deserved his goal for his performances the last few games. O'Hare much, much better today but should have scored!

You do have to factor in milwall were dog shit , but for me it's the usual suspects O'Hare, Gus , sheaf was much better today. And we have played better than that and lost this season. But 3 points , an away win , goals scored, PUSB.

Really good team performance. Best I've seen us manage the clock at the end for ears. Thought Hamer and Sheaf were both excellent. I've been critical of O'Hare in recent weeks but thought he was also very good today. Shipley also showed what he offers - bravery to get beyond the striker and will have a shot every now and again.
