Murphy - 6 Not much to do really, other than pick the ball out the net 4 times
Christie - 7 For some reason seemed to doubt himself. Didn't see the aggressive running at defenders he usually does
Webster - 7 Masses of experience nipped 2-3 very dangerous situations in the bud with little shoulder barges, leans or kicks.
Seaborne - 7 Tidy performance, finally have a decent centre half!
Adams - 6 Lively in the first 20 mins, tired/faded after
Baker - 8 Great workrate, ball control and hold up play. Very unlucky not to score a spectacular goal
Fleck - 10 Absolutely outstanding, different class in the second half and against Ozil and Wilshere!!! Bye John and good luck in the Premiership....
Thomas - 9 Seemed to win everything in the second half. My Arsenal mates (without prompting) said your number 6 is a "a very decent player"
Daniels - 6 Grew into the game. Much better second half. Seemed to understand the system better and his performance matured
Moussa - 7 Poor first half, held the ball up much better second half
Clarke - 5 Worst City player on the pitch. Disinterested, not closing down or making runs, missed chances and wanted to come off "injured".

That's a pretty fair assessment all round. Keeper was unlucky his rebound fell to Arsenal and not city. The score is right for Clarke. His single run was ok. His shot at the bar unlucky. His pass to the keeper a shocker.

What did everyone else think?! I was in the Arsenal end and genuinely at 2-0 some of their supporters were willing us to score! They hugely appreciated us as a club and our team today. Shame that we once rubbed shoulders...

I remember Murphy making some good saves.

Arsenal had 2 players on the goal line for the last goal.

I think the OP was about right with his assessment, Fleck has always been quality, it has surprised me that his name hasn't been bantered around as January window interest ... Clarke was poor tonight, but he does strike me as a player whose mind has to be with it to play and he has been turned, so best let him go now sadly.

I actually thought Daniels was pretty good (apart from his shocking effort at goal)! I'd have given him a 7, maybe an 8. As for Clarke, he was left exposed in the first half with us playing too deep and yeah, he didn't deliver a goal but he worked harder 2nd half and got in positions. This wasn't like playing against the CB pairing for Oldham, these players are experienced internationals at the top of their game and we caused them some problems 2nd half! Not Clarke's finest performance, no, but I really think people are looking for opportunities to rubbish him.
