Wilson - 6 - did well when he had to, good distributions
Dabo - 4 - struggled I thought, though broke forward well a couple of times
Bidwell - 7 - very solid and got forward well
McNally - 9 - class player, loved that huge tackle in the second half
Fadz - 7 - made up for the pen with a great goal
Doyle - 8 - great on the ball and defensively
Sheaf - 9 - was pretty faultless today, my MOTM
Eccles - 7 - tidy on the ball, contributed well today
Hamer - 8 - buzzing everywhere, quality delivery and passing
Walker - 7 - best I’ve seen him for us for a long time, put himself about and had decent link up play
Gyokeres - 7 - class assist for Sheaf, that said he’s looking a touch frustrated at the moment. Targeted by the other team and letting it get to him

Godden - 7 - good today, took his goal well
Norton-Cuffy - 7 - our best right back

Erm... Did you miss the Blackpool goal?

Otherwise agree with most of what you said. Everyone (bar Dabo in the first half) had a good game.

Mcnally and Doyle were excellent. Would love to have them both back next season.

Add 1 to Wilson and Dabo and swap Gus and Sheaf. Agree with a lot of the comments though.

I didn't watch today, just listened. Those that did - could that midfield three get us over the line if they stay fit and we stick with two up top?

It worked well today and against Wigan. But tougher tests to come before I'd be confident in saying yes.

Thought most put in a 7 out of 10 apart from Hamer & Sheaf who were outstanding and Dabo who was the opposite.

Eccles looked neat and tidy so I don't see why they can't get us into the playoffs.
Obviously if we pick anymore injuries we will struggle.
We have the option of bringing Allen back into the starting line up if MR wants to go back to 1 upfront.

Seems like Bidwell is giving more going fwd the last couple of games. Could make a big difference.

Not sure Sheaf was a 9. Great game but two really bad mistakes. One costing a goal.
I would give Dabo an extra point for the shot that led to Hamer's corner. He's often in that position and decides to pass.

Yeah granted, missed that he was at fault there.

His work defensively and off the ball is so good though. He takes the ball on the turn, can pass round the corner. Thought he gave us so much control. Plus he scored.

Why? Just because Hamer had a flukey corner and 48 lucky pinpoint passes

Hamer was amazing today. He’s such a quality player, well miss him as much as we will Vik when they leave. Savour them while we can!

Did make me laugh yesterday, because at one point, Eccles seemingly picked up a knock and the talk from some on here was the "oh he's injured again" and then it was discussing the length of his contract .

He played the entire 90 minutes.

That was only me wasn’t it? and it was just me sarcastically predicting another 3 days of bickering about his contract. I think Eccles is a an extremely classy young player and I think it’s great we’ve tied him down on a 4 year contract!
