So who would you rather see at the helm pulling the strings. Put your vote and why

For me Ranson would be fine with the right backing. It's been proven he has been outvoted on a number of key issues the fans were pissed off about.

Neither, Ranson a busted flush, seems to have been little use as a chairman at all. Never any meaningful statements from him, when he does it's generally "economical with the truth".

Lacks class too, as evidenced by his slagging off of previouis managers, players, and the SBT at Fans Forums(all eagerly lapped up by sickening sycophants).

He'd tried to take over several clubs before us, Villa, Man City and Southampton, all turned him down, one of which rather go into admin than let him get his hands on them.

Id rather Ranson than nobody. I believed him at the start, and feel now like hes had his hands tied and he was led on all this time. Now either thats true, or hes a bloody good liar. Either way, he convinces me more than SISU do.

Echo what has been stated above, definitely feel he has had his hands tied somewhat. Agreed he is not perfect, and also has made mistakes, however would prefer him to nobody, and in the case of SISU a faceless backer, with seemingly less interest in improving on field issues.

Can't really add to much to what's already been said. We've heard in the past how Ranson wanted to keep Fox and Dann and push on to gain us Premier League status. Clearly didn't have the right backing under SISU. Under investors with more ambition, who knows where we could be now? Certainly in a better spot than right now, i'd imagine!

Ranson is the only contender or a slow death with SISU.
A choice between the devil and the deep, blue sea.

Ranson as ABS (Anyone But SISU) but as nobody has actually come forward we and SISU are stuck with eachother so we must learn to live wih it, accept it and make the best of it

This, especially the last paragraph.
He's pissed off so many players with his contact talks, or lack of.

You need to start afresh.

I voted for Sisu, obviously.

Mad the lot of you, like lemmings.

Or is that just bullshit?

Neither - time for a new chair and a new backer and a new manager, and mainly a new approach.

Neither, not that we're flush with options! Or are we? We wouldn't find out off SISU if anything was going on regarding potential buyers. Looking at how ruthless they were with: 1) Buying us 2)Contract negiotiations 3)Transfer negotiations.

-It's fair to assume that any sale would probably take years of negotiating as they try to protect their "investment".

RR has not impressed, and the spin/double-speak does my nut in. It's easy for him to try and portray himnself as the good guy now the craps flying, but he's made some terrible football and business decisions and been less than open with the fans. I find him very patronising.

Bring back Fletcher! He can launch "Operation Championship" in the summer!

I voted for Ranson - SISU are simply not an option. Ranson has proven to be an astute businessman in the past, and as an ex-pro he understands the game. His resignation shows he is a man of principle. My hope is that his friendship with Gary Hoffman will result in a new consortium to take us forward.

I think that in Ranson at least we have someone who understands the game/industry - Like a poor mans Niall Quinn

Man of principle? How many times has he supposed to have threatened to resign before? King wouldn't be here either if he had any principles at all either.

As for the "football man" comments? Coleman and Boothroyd.

Voted Ranson but it really does depend who the backers are...RR will just be a puppet in the firing line again whoever he comes in with and I can't see anything changing 2nd time around. We need serious investment to buy the ground etc to have any chance of turning this around now and I can't imagine there are too many in this current climate who are prepared to take such a massive risk....just hope he proves me wrong.

neither.

The one thing you can say about RR is that he is obviously a good bullsh*tter. He managed to persuade a private equity company to part with £30m to buy him his own football club. That takes some doing.
SISU have absolutely no interest in CCFC, Coventry or the people of Coventry. They are only interested in money. Where they thought the money would be in a club that had been losing money for as long as anyone can remember is anyone's guess but he persuaded them it could be done.
Now he is trying to do the same with some other outfit. I think it will be a lot tougher for him this time.

Having said that the omens are not good for anyone else to come in either. The only option may be to sack all the senior players and play with the youth team. It is the only way they will stop losing money. Who in their right mind would pay £30m for something for the privilege of continuing to lose £2-4m a year?

Ranson. SISU are only money men and are out for themselves. They'll never invest in this club. At least RR had a footballing brain!
