Entirely hypothetical question: Rank this list of 10 potential investors in the order that you'd be happy to see them involved in a Hoffman takeover (10 being the least happy)

Joe Elliott
Geoffrey Robinson
Ray Ranson
Norman Smurthwaite
Nicky Summerbee
Tim Fisher
Bryan Richardson
Gordon Strachan
Richard Keys
Wasps

He was a last minute addition to replace the milk carton from Blur's 'Coffee and TV'. Hoffman was distraught when he discovered the milk carton was killed at the end of the video and couldn't bring his vast experience of investment in Asian markets to the table.

I have no idea, the richest local person is Sir Peter Rigby I think, be nice if he suddenly decided he wanted to bankroll his local club. Mind you, he wouldn't stay rich for very long.

He has the most pretentious opening Wikipedia line of any ex footballer I've seen:
Graeme Pierre Le Saux (born 17 October 1968) is a retired Jèrriais and English professional footballer of French ancestry.

It's better to be the postman than the letterbox, as my long imprisoned grandfather used to say.

He rents a picturesque cottage with Tim in the Peak District, although Tim only stays in the summer when there's pruning or cutting back to do. So i counted them as one.

She has somewhere between 0 and 100,000,000,00,000.24 to invest but she hasn't got the exact figures to hand.

Still vote Labour guys.

Isn't he a Scouser based in Birmingham? I know he has business links to Coventry and Warwickshire but is there more than that?

He owns Coventry Airport, Exeter Airport (I think) various high brow hotels such as the Mallory Court, and Patriot Aviation amongst other businesses. His main business is Computers and his company is SCC, which made him his fortune. I think his company was the biggest independent computer company in the UK. He was also the driving force behind the Coventry Gateway scheme at the Airport.

He is a very astute businessman, so unless it has profit potential or the ground has a high brow hotel he is interested in investing in, a runway going up the pitch or a helipad in the centre circle I think there is little to no chance he would ever be interested.

Come on, there could be big money in the Coventry to Exeter air shuttle next season. We'll put the helipad in the centre circle.
