It looked like robins pre-match rallying cry asking supporters to get behind the team in numbers seems to have backfired as the atmosphere was drab and the attendance figure of 9,100 made up of 2,500 Bradford fans leaving a poor showing from our support -it actually looked more like less than 8,000 even singers corner looked empty -Big job ahead for the new man
The team got a damned good applause from the supporters at half time. They likely got an empty stadium at full time, though I had long left. Bradford looked like they bought getting on for 2000 .
Regarding the empty look of singers corner, it is explained by the 'orange' brigade, with the riot police at hand.
The 'orange' stewards have sent in female stewards to check the ticket stubs or s/tickets of those who stood around or close the the drummer, any arguements by any fans,& in come the heavies.
This has been happening for the last three games, at least.
Dozens of fans have been told to go & sit in their real seat, or they will be ejected from the ground.
In many cases the seats concerned are no more than 10-20 seats away from where the fans were standing, it is seen however a means of splitting up the group of supporters, so as to annul any possibility of crowd discontent.
Bloody pathetic imho
