On now. Pretty good so far, although could turn into a bit of a Leicester love-in. Dave Jones is amongst the guests, and he knows our league inside-out.

It is a tad depressing though to hear just how much our rivals in this division have strengthened

Not all of them have strengthened though... I think there's a few in our boat!

Smiley... Its a media round up... We'll be lucky if they say a sentence with the word "Coventry" in it!

Not got to us yet, but its a 2 hour prog. We'll probably get a 30 second mention when they get to the relegation candidates.

Poyet interview was great. He said Leicester and West Ham must go up with the players they have and the money they've spent, yet 10 other clubs expect to go up..but they're just chasing one place, so that'll be another 9 managers sacked.

Claridge (rightly) said this is a much tougher division this season, loads of money spent, and that 2-3 of last seasons play-off challengers last year wouldn't have got close this season.

I'd tke odds on for at least half of the teams not to have the same manager by May, us included !

Team out in
Barnsley 9 7
Brum 16 7
Blackpool 12 8
Brighton 7 6
Bristol C 4 3
Burnley 11 3
Cardiff 6 8
Cov 8 2
C Palarse 6 4
Derby 9 9
Doncaster 9 5
Hull 9 7
Ipswich 13 7
Leeds 5 3
Fester 14 10
Midds 7 2
Millwall 10 4
Forest 8 3
Peterboro 9 5
Portsmouth 9 5
Reading 9 2
S'thampton 5 2
Watford 8 6
W Ham 10 6

Only one team has signed more players than released/sold. Not many quality players bought. Some quality players sold. Burnley have released 11 players and signed only 3 players. Two of these are defender loanees, although from Man City. This looks like the season where all teams are tightening their belts. Lots of players have been left without a club just before the season starts.

This isn't a championship preview, it's just the pundits talking about their own teams with an occasional chat with an ex-premier league team. Wouldn't be surprised if we go the whole show without being mentioned, although i guess there isn't much football wise to say about us really.

2 in doesn't look great compared to the other sides, and as they are both 'keepers they can't both start! Has anyone else signed zero outfield players?

Plus we are hardly building from a position of strength..in terms of quality in/quality out, I'd put us 24th.

One of the pundits just said "I am not saying they will go down but I would be worried if I am a Coventry fan"

Yep, our only mention, as expected! It was Clem..when asked to name "one team to go down", he said "I'm not saying they are going to get relegated, but I'd be very worried if I was a Coventry fan".

Claridge didn't name us in his 3-4 strugglers, although he was reluctant to name anyone.

I hold my head in shame that a company that rescued us a few years ago have put us into a worse situation than we were at before. To be favourite to go down, and one of the reason for that is a lack of players coming in, but in the same week we bring two more board members in is a complete and utter joke.

All the reviews on us for this season are not looking good to say the least.

Tipped to go down, bit embarrassing really, I can't see it happening though.

who cares what people predict?? If every one was right how boring would it be!! If im not mistaken for 34 yrs we were predicted to go down, so chins up and lets look forward to the season!

Also alot would change if Hoff or someone else came in and invested in us!
