It seemed at times as if every one of the Barcalona players was seeing the game from a birdseye position whilst playing it on the ground! Collective understanding meets tactical knowledge meets technical genius. At times, I couldn't work out where the M U players were supposed to be playing because they had been pulled all over the place. Football has left me feeling very disillusioned in recent years. City, England, ticket prices, Sky TV, agents, `tired` players, over hyped millionaires of average talent and money money money. That performance tonight reminded me of why football is so important. Like Puskas in the 50's (i'm not that old by the way!) it didn't matter that it was an English team being beaten. All that mattered was the international language of football was being developed and delivered with grace and beauty, and the footballing community is united again by its sport, and the entertainment it can produce.
Thank you Barca, and bad luck Man Utd, but you can't argue with that.
