One of my boyhood heroes from the 1950's. Only one or two will remember him playing for us.

Fond memories of Jack on one wing and his mate Jimmy Rodgers on the other terrorising defences every week.

Remember seeing both Jack & Jimmy play at our home, Highfield Rosd, happy daze!

Too early for me but my old man rated him and Rodgers I think they played for Jesse Carver and George Raynor in a decent side at the time, one flying down one winger and one the other slinging crosses in for a a Ted Roberts to head home, simple tactics but so effective in division 3 football and that's where we are currently
