Good answers Paxman. I can see you are a trivia buff. Got a few wrong but you'll get a few surprises tomorrow with the answers. Q7 is not a trick question, but think a bit more in the future *hint*.

Manchester City (or Arsenal, both big)

3. The smallest playing surface in all 4 divisions is?

4. If you’re watching a game between the Shrimps and the Shrimpers, who are you watching?
Morecambe vs Southend

5. What is the name of West Ham United’s ground?
The Boleyn Ground

6. If the Hornets were playing the Bees, which 3 teams could be involved?

Are we disregarding sponsors here? Colchester Community Stadium is the Weston Homes 'other' name. Bit vague this one.

Six correct Ernie. You're correct that Colchester's ground is a long 'un (The Weston Homes Community Stadium) but there's 2 longer than that! Excellent Ernie!

I hope you're including no.5 as correct, because it ain't Upton Park!

As for the longest name, I have no idea. Unless it's that Sports Direct nonsense!

Thanks Ernie, I shall have to change my spreadsheet. Do you have any data on this new ground, such as field dimensions and capacity?

Just an FYI on the Ricoh Arena. It is the equal smallest in the Championship at 7,140 sq. metres (105m x 68m). It shares this size with Reading, Millwall and Derby County.
So that's why Gunnar gets the long throws in! Anyone know how his throws look at either Hull or Leeds, who have the largest fields at 8,892 sq. metres (114m x 78m)?

Thanks Paxman. I also found out that their playing field is 105m x 69m (a tad bigger than the Ricoh) and is also known as the Falmer Stadium. Cheers mate!

Surprised to hear the Ricoh is a small pitch - I've always thought it looks quite big.

Sorry for above.

Apologies, it looked good when I had it in edit mode, but when I posted it carried all the formatting code with it. I'll try and clean it up in HTML so it's legible.

Sorry.....Egastap

Edit: Not perfect, but a lot better
