Everyone is familiar with the times Chelsea and Tottenham had to wear our away kit in league matches in 96/97 and 86/87.

But does anybody remember the game in which Oggy wore the opposition’s shirt?

Why was that? Assume it was a kit clash?

Must have been. I stumbled across the highlights this morning. Blackburn wore yellow and Oggy had that yellow and black chequered shirt that season.

Anyone remember the lad who got on the pitch and took his shirt off and stamped on it in front of the Directors box. I think he was in the navy and served on HMS Coventry...but might have made that bit up. Was it against Brum???? 1984??

Burnley v Coventry was a late start once in the ‘70’s because both keepers were told to change shirts for colour clash

Which opposition player was substituted at half time because he could not see the orange ball on a partially snow covered HR?

They brought in a white gk top half way through the season with colourful sleeves. I remember buying it at the end of the season.

It was Bohinen, turned out he was partially colour blind and couldn't see orange.

Statistically 2 people that are on a pitch are colourblind. Sometimes when teams wear their away kit for no reason it is due to that.

With regards to Oggy and kits. A mate was at his first game for Shrewsbury and said he was wearing his Liverpool jersey and always wondered why. When I asked Oggy why he said there was some mix up and he had to find what he could in the boot of the car. Different times back then!

If the wearing of the away kit is because of 2 people on a pitch being colourblind, that isn’t no reason to do that.
Is it???

If you can't see him maybe it's because he's wearing orange.

Yes I had a look after and saw it wasn’t what I thought. I remember him being decent while he was here anyway

The Chelsea cup game the twat ref Steve Bennett took issue with Keiren Westwood’s shorts I think and he made him change, apparently clashed with the ref’s kit or something. Must be a picture somewhere

Made him change the socks by look of it, so it wasn’t a complete bottom half clash with the Chelsea kit (not his own). What a nause though. And how shit does it look

It's because of all the snow there. Not much colour to see!

Yes I knew him. His name was Roy. I won't give out his last name.

Sorry should’ve said when there appears to be no reason.
