Considering SISU un-ethical business model, do you think them and QuickQuid will go hand in hand and alienate more of our fans.

Bolton and Millwall owners have listened to there fans and rejected theses loan sharks who have offered £200,000 year shirt sponsorship.

I can just imagine them looking for easy targets and why not the money grabbing CCFC SISU.

Won't put it pass SISU to take the bait. In some ways I hope they do if offered.

what is wrong with these companies as a sponsor exactly?

they lend money, they ask for interest

if your not happy to pay it dont take the loan out?

Hmm. They prey on vulnerable people and give loans to people who cannot afford it.

Maybe Primark should sponsor us. After all they are just as unethical with kids working in Bangladesh sweatshops. And I'm sure no one on here shops there because of their high morals.

No, it will be a SISU company, that way it will enable us to get around FFP.

I borrowed a pen to fill in a form when I was in the Quick-Quid shop the other day. They wanted 80 pens back!

Because in almost all situations if you are desperate enough to have to use one of these companies then you can't afford to use one of these companies so you are getting yourself into more and more trouble. They prey on desperate, vulnerable (and without wishing to sound mean people of lower intelligence who don't realise the extent of what they are doing.)

A Sisu related company to get round FFP.
As usual no money will change hands, just a debt added to the club as a (Loan in lieu of sponsorship).

Kind of like "if your not happy to pay the rent, don't buy the club"?

Your not pro Sisu because their lose morals have directly effected you, yet the same morals being used by businesses like this is acceptable?

Payday loan companies exploit those who feel they have no other option, they prey on the misfortunes of others, that's what's wrong with them.

Moral outrage about things that actually do happen is bad enough.

Moral outrage about what might happen, but very unlikely to happen and not even close to being suggested will happen.is just taking it a bit too far on the frothing mentalist front even for this messageboard.

agreed the simple fact of the matter is if for some reason circumstances conspire that we desperately need to buy or pay something urgently and don't have the money we can use a credit card, we can get what is basically a months loan for absolutely no cost (and in fact get added value from doing so with protection etc (which saved us £400 the other day, ty american express) if the month loan isn't enough we can not pay the credit card back straight away and have an APR of 30% at worst. The only people who use companies like this are ones who can't get a credit card and end up with an apr from these companies of 1300%.

Just seems completely wrong and unfair that those of us who are lucky enough not to struggle with money pay 30%, those who are struggling desperately pay 1300% and get themselves into all sorts of trouble. There is almost no situations where using one of these companies is a good idea.

I don't think there is anyone in the thread getting outraged that these people are about to become our sponsors are there?

I'm looking up at you from my small donkey to you on your very high horse to be honest.

I think we should have a discussion about what we should do if Sisu got President Assad as shirt sponsor, just the sort of evil thing that would do, possibly, maybe, or not at all perhaps.

Who knows what these evil sub-human scum could get up to?

I think we should have Pickfords Removals. They might give us cheap rates for our barrow that we sell our merchandise from as well as helping us with move to our new home ground.

Oh I could never dare dream to enter into a discussion with you my lord, I fear your intellect and all knowing, all seeing brain would simply obliterate my meagre offerings in any sort of discussions, I already fear I have spoken out of turn , for this I am sorry.

I would just add though if I could be so bold that your attitude on many posts seems to be taking joy out of others pain. You may well be right in all you proclaim and perhaps we should all just be awfully pleased that we have Sisu running our club, but to many, they feel hurt, let down, shafted whatever you want to call it, in the way the club has been run and so, rightly or wrongly, just want to vent their frustrations with fellow supporters. Unfortunately in the absence of a pro sisu and anti sisu message board we all have to rub along together and so opinions often clash but you are relentless in rubbing salt, along with Grendel (if in fact you are not he) into the pain of others. Sometimes people just wanna be irrational and vent, just let them, you can pretend that your doing a good dead by NOT showing them the errors of their ways.

The belief that Summerisle is a sisu supporter is laughable.

Yes. It'll be a sponsorship deal worth £3m a season from a SISU group company, registered in Fisher's loft-conversion the week before last; but the money will actually be in the form of a loan.

In a quid pro quo arrangement, the kits bearing the logo will have to be bought from another SISU group company; at a cost of £3.1m.

Still, 'who cares', eh?

i can understand them approaching bolton and milwall but why would they want to sponsor a team with no ground and no future ?

They would not blink an eyelid. In fact Quick Quid are possibly more ethical than SISU.
