I would offer that fans who only come on when we lose and then just come out with 'we're crap' and not offer anything else are not really true City fans at all.

I find that very odd. Win, no sign, lose, straight on and it's usually just minutes after the game has ended.

It’s just the same (in reverse) as those people who continue to go and are wildly over optimistic when we scrape a win. In psychology it’s called Confirmation Bias.
