Question for the trust (1 Viewer)

Seeing as no single person gets a decent reply from the Football League when asking questions, and the trust should be a bit more recognised. Has the trust asked any questions of the Football League about the assurances they have supposed to have received from Sisu/Otium about the new stadium and what possible consequences we face should their conditions of the golden share being given not being met?

It's just that as we haven't signed any players yet and if we get put under another embargo then all I can see is trouble ahead (aside from the obvious trouble we are already in).

Put the crayola & fruit shoot down my friend. It will serve you no good at this time of the Evening.

I thought every club had a fans liaison officer? Perhaps we should employ them to represent our opinion.

The Board has given Coventry City permission to play its matches at Northampton Town for the next three seasons, with no agreement in place regarding the Ricoh Arena. Obviously if an arrangement is reached by the club to return to Coventry at an earlier point then this is desirable for all. The League has previously stated that ideally an agreement can be reached between parties to enable this to happen. This term can be extended for two further periods of 12 months, provided the club can demonstrate sufficient progress towards the building of a new stadium in the Coventry area. Should the club not comply with this timeframe, the matter will be considered by The Football League Board at the relevant time with reference to both the permission to relocate and the membership agreement entered into in August 2013. Expulsion from the League would be a realistic outcome at that stage.

(This is the best I can get from them. With no marker as to what satisfactory progress is, however I get the impression come to the end of the three years. If there is no agreement to return to the Ricoh we face expulsion)

We have asked the FL about the issue. IIRC they said they will check on progress at the end of the season but they didn't say anything regarding penalties. I'll have to double check though as it was a few months ago. I think we released a statement on it. I'll also take a look to see if anything was said about what sanctions will be imposed if the 590k isn't paid back.

The FL are due to announce the new season's fixture list on 18 June. With the JR starting on 10 June this will be an interesting couple of weeks.

If the trust haven't already done so - it might be an idea to send the League some kind of communication - outlining the lack of any visible progress whatsoever in regards of an alternative stadium being developed.
Something that will keep them focused on our club.
Greg Dyke isn't listening for sure at the FA.

I'm being serious but save your time guys. Worthy questions but the FL have been already proved to be spineless and Hipocrites.

Why ask them things and waste your time to people who don't give a shit about me or you or ccfc.

The Trust are shit. I had high hopes for them but they fucked it up. Michael's a mentalist. Rob S seems alright but everyone hates him. Labowitch and Fisher are idiots, Joy Seppalla is a twat. Peter and Marilyn annoy the hell out of me. Lucas hasn't got a fucking clue.

Chin chin.

How dare you all be so negative about our new shed RFC told us months ago that we would hear in a few weeks we are still waiting?

They will buy a field and then pretend to go thou the motions before blaming local councils for putting a spanner in the works....

Come on we all know how they work by now.....

Utter scoundrels don't care a toss about us or our club.

....no it won't.

How anyone can get excited over a fucking judicial review is beyond me.....the only folks who I can imagine getting excited are the lawyers who will profit from it....

The JR will see us NO FURTHER FORWARD.....mark my words.

I actually agree that the JR will be a damp squib and will not give a definitive answer.
However, if the FL are going to do anything they must do it before 18 June if they are to protect their fixture list.
Whilst the JR is unlikely to be definitive the judge's comments could well help decide whether SISU think that there is any point in continuing their attempts to extract "compensation" from CCC.
