Am I the only one reading that and thinking it's been written to be leaked? Who talks like that with all the quotes if not just trying to go "LOOK EVERYONE! LOOK WHAT JAN SAID!".

So, that's 3 leaders the Trust has sacrificed for Fisher. How many more before they realise they're being taken for a ride?

It all looks just a bit too obvious though to me to be genuine.

Yeah, if it wasn't for the history of clumsy stuff like this from Labovitch I'd say fake straight away.

This club is impossible to satirise.

It is most certainly written to be leaked.
Question is if there's any truth in it.

Hound dog - elvis Pressley - Steve Pressley is the owner of the new sign on????

Seriously own goal by ml if true and jan should just clarify. We are idiots if we allow sisu to play us.

Ml/tf answer some questions please and you may get respect otherwise fuck off!

If true you (ml) are showing you have no idea of how our club is like a family member and we are upset about what you have done

Let's assume for a minute this is genuine. If you remove all the histrionics doesn't it basically say the club is prepared to maintain dialogue with the trust on the basis that anyone who has every spoken a word against SISU is removed from the trust?

This is just as likely to be a trust member leaking this for obvious reasons.

I'd say not as Jan has spoken against them himself and no mention of him going?

Can understand why Michael but no idea what john has done to them, but the other trust members must sort of agree?

What a load of crap, seems once again SISU are using diversion tactics to try and take the spotlight away from the terrible job they are doing running the club and any awkward questions about a business plan everyone knows doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.

Maybe the club should leave the running of the trust up to it's members and concentrate on trying to get the club out of the incredible mess they have created.

That's the best advert ever for joining the Trust.

The SCG owe all Coventry fans an apology.

Individuals running the group have willingly allowed it to become a mouth piece for propaganda from a hedge fund. It either needs a wholesale change of personnel or disbanding as it is no longer fit for the purpose it was intended.

Frankly if this email is true Jan should resign. Colluding in a conspiracy to remove Trust members.

Perhaps a judicial review is in order?

Today I'll be playing Mr Labovitch.

CET said:
Mr Labovitch also denied accusations the club was only willing to listen to the views of those people who agreed with the owners.He said: “Absolutely not. I am an independent director and I don’t share 100 per cent of the views of Sisu.
“I have my views, Joy has her views and we meet with fans who have extremely different views to us.
“If we wanted to surround ourselves with ‘yes’ men then they would be pretty thin on the ground.”

I'll say it again. Are the club admitting to the crime that they accuse CCC and SBT of? Why are they trying to influence the makeup of the board without input from their members?

I'm a trust member, this is the first I've even heard of it. Have the members been consulted to agree?

No idea, I haven't had any emails to ask about things either.

Hasn't the chair person changed though?

Is it just me or is there a distinct language difference between the OP's remarks and the mail to Jan?
I would say the OP did not write the pasted mail. So the mail could be real (no idea if the content is true though).

Switched from John to Steve, not sure why, that happened a while ago.

I thought all were elected, but to be honest I don't know the constitution. Not sure what the process is to change board members.

I haven't seen the letter/mail before, so I have three questions:

Is the mail a fabrication?
Is anything in the mail true?
Who is the OP who clearly has an interest in getting Jan removed from the trust leaderboard?

I hadn't seen that but there was that article last week about something said to the trust. It might be different though.

The email looks to me like it was:
1) Most likely designed to be leaked;
2) Taking possible grains of truth and then stretching them and /or changing the context to paint a picture that is harmful to the Trust, divisive amongst Trust Board Members and associates and probably defamatory;
3) The same email that was referred to in the Coventry Telegraph http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-director-accused-underhand-6841703 18th March as all the hallmarks are the same.
The Thread is obviously following the philosophy that 'attack is the best form of defence'. Jonathan Strange and his allies on the SCG have been under considerable criticism in the past week due to the assault on the Trust in the last SCG minutes. I would be most surprised if this thread has not been posted by Mr Strange or one of his group, or someone within the club management hierachy such as Mark Labovitch.
All of it is clearly aimed at deflecting discussion away from the key issues:
a) Questions and concerns surrounding the recently published accounts of Sky Blue Leisure;
b) Future funding of the Team;
c) An early return to the Ricoh;
etc.
Supporters should not allow ourselves to be so deflected by such shallow and transparent tactics.

Yeah they were all elected.

As far as I was aware, they tied themselves in to a fixed term, so it's not as easy as them just offing themselves, although I'd actually thought a couple of them had resigned (including Michael Orton). As Michael's around these parts mind you, sure he can say the actual truth of that or not!

As for new board members it's always the catch 22 isn't it. How many of us can honestly say we'd be willing to commit to the time? As with anything voluntary, it's a thankless task really isn't it, whether you agree with how they do things or not.

And then it's another catch 22. From my own POV I'd love to hear various Trust board members' positions and concerns, and make my own judgement on that. But in a climate of fear and distrust, I'm not so naive as to expect them to just speak fully and frankly to some bloke on a message board with a liking for 60s and 70s comic characters!

Honest question so if someone from one of the fans groups feels that our owners are not the best for this club. They openly question and challenge the owners of the club.

Does that mean they should be excluded from the only consultation group between the fans and the club.

Or should their opinion be merited.
Especially when it mirrors that of so many fans?

This email seems designed to cause fractions between these people. Yet if it is from ML it actually shows that they want to dictate who is allowed on a fans forum. If you challenge them you are not welcome.
It does more damage to ML than Jan IMO.

On a philosophical level it does depend how though, doesn't it?

As far as I'm aware both Steve and Jan are anything but pro SISU(!)

Well lets wait for the next meeting and see what happens looks rather suspect to me.
Wouldn't be surprised if they try and oust the Trust for not agreeing with them on all accounts.

Funny I seem to remember that the SCG was actually stared by the Trust. Now due to not towing the line as there members have asked they are then thrown out The SCG will just be full of yes men and even more of a waste of time then it is now.

As long as there is no violence or shouting people down in meetings. If in the meetings they follow proper decorum. I see no reason to try and force someone from a fans forum.

The funny thing is SISU keep banging on about how hostile the trust are towards them yet the trust take a lot of criticism for not taking a more hardline stance against SISU!

Question for HoundDog1987, how did you come to be in possession of an email you state is from Mr Labovitch to Mr Mokrzycki and on what basis do you feel you should be making a private email public?

Also can you confirm you have not previously posted on this board under another name and if you are in any way associated with the club, SISU or the trust?
