Would like to see a variation from the long throws , Would start Eccles alongside Grimes and maybe a bit harsh on him but I would bring Tats in for Esse, he gives more defensive cover and him and MVE appear to have a better understanding of each others game

My memory is crap ngl but didn’t Birmingham go through the right hand side vs MVE and Norwich scored through the right hand side and Kitchings mistake?

I think the bigger problem is Esse and EMC since neither tracks back it isolates the fullbacks

Fair enough but what’s the alternative? EMC is arguably our best outfielder at the moment he’s not getting dropped. Bidwell and Brau look way off it, possibly KKH?

It’s not a personnel issue it’s a tactical issue. The FBs are told to tuck in, the midfield should be covering and aren’t. I don’t see why EMC can’t get back but if he can’t then either is drop him away from home or task a CM with coming across like Eccles.

When JDS is not there we are really shit. See Wrexham.

Can’t really blame the full backs just doing what they’re asked to do, and to be fair to da silva he’s improved, it’s just mistakes at centre half have cost us, they’ve always got a Titus bramble moment in them, Jesus, remember him
