It’s not bad but it’s dull. Set up to draw

Out of our starting 11, could someone name 1 player who when the balls at their feet, you get excited? Answers on the back of a fucking stamp. Without sakamoto or palmer we have zero creativity/energy

Simms looking a physical threat today. I like what I am seeing

The concern will be the midfield as the game goes on. Allen can’t be expected to last, Eccles tires and Kelly also struggles late in games

Yep - having the ball for a bit isn't playing well.
Theme of our season so far. Can be fairly comfortable in possession in non dangerous areas and therefore look "in control" - other team not threatening.
Thing is, as has also been the theme, no real clear cut chances /cutting through a side.
Zero creativity means nothing going forward.

(Not there today - comments relate to past 5 games or so)

Atmosphere is atrocious. Maybe we should bring back 800 going away every week

Not playing badly but we are extremely deep, midfield is having to cover a huge gap and when they do get the ball from the defence the strikers are miles away. That means they are either keeping possession (backwards) or playing a lot of hopeful balls over the top due to the distance a progressive pass on the floor would need. Simms looks up for a battle today. Don't see how the midfield will last 90 mins covering the space they are. Also the team is giving away far too many cheap free kicks.

We don’t have the strikers for hoofball. Nor do we have the midfield to link up from the back.

Decent cross from Thomas there- Why is Simms trying to volley it rather than heading it?

Reminds me of the league two season with Doyle and Kelly

Most entertaining is the QPR commentators crying about the ref. Mind you we can’t seem to make a clean tackle

Kelly or Eccles isn’t really an issue, it’s having to play them both which is the problem

I’m trying to back Simms but what a horrendous amount of unnecessary faffing.

Wonder if Rus will get a run second half? Comes a point when you’ve got to have a look at him in the first team…

Never ending rotation of negativity. Whole end kicks off because Simms is scared to shoot. We didn't learn from years of negativity did we?

Gyokeres would've scored that. And yes I'm going to say it because we are still playing as if he's still here
