Why did we seemingly spend all that money and the majority of the transfer window chasing Kitching just to have him on the bench?

Because Binks has done well since coming in so it's his shirt to lose. people were asking why we'd signed Binks a fortnight ago!

Yep, especially when we were desperate for a Hamer replacement.

It's not an either/or! Or would we have been better off having no defensive strength in depth as well as midfield?

Possible explanations:

He isn't fully fit yet
Binks has been playing well
Best to pick teams based on who is playing best not how much you spent in them.

Think we have to trust Robins on this as he knows more than we do about players' fitness.

I’m sure that when we are 3-0 down after 78 minutes, Robins will make the changes, and after having been pumping long balls up to Matty Godden all game when he is still 30 yards from the penalty area, Wright will come on for Simms and we will revert to pumping long balls up to Matty Godden for the final 10 minutes when he is 30 yards from the penalty area

...so I was playing old Blur stuff on Youtube last night-the earlier stuff from Leisure like Sing and Bang-and there are kids on there describing it as GRUNGE! I mean sure, that album came out before Nirvana released Nevermind, so by definition can't be "grunge", whatever that fucking is...some people pointed out "if by grunge you mean "has guitars""! Pathetic. I suppose they've never even heard of "Baggy"? Did Ride die for nothing?! TBC...

For those not watching, Simms just blazed a great chance over the bar. Godden's superb dummy took Clarke-Salter out of the game, leaving Simms a clear run on goal. He checked back inside and shot over. Should have hit the target at least.

Id be surprised. Think Eccles and Allen would likely play more alongside sheaf, especially if Ohares fit so allen can play deeper. No legs in sheaf/Kelly

Right, I've been quite negative recently. But so far despite not creating all that much we're playing a bit better.

Not idea, same with Simms and Wright. Massive fees spent on them and I'm not sure they have played a minute together.

Understand to ease them in but surely the long term plan is to play them together so would give them 10 minutes together from time to time
