They say the club gets the keys in the morning and hand them back at the end of the day so I'm assuming that means we play no part in maintaining the pitch. so are our ground staff to be sacked?
And can northampton deliver anywhere near the standard we require with 2 teams playing every week?
And has anyone got any idea of the numbers of postponements due to bad weather at 6 ways recently?

Our head groundsman left a few weeks ago & the ACL promptly took him on to maintain the Ricoh pitch, I guess we stall have people maintaining the Ryton pitches or maybe Timmy get on the mower once a week.

Northampton finish their game - City play the next day (guess what the pitch is going to be like through the winter months, with naff all time for it to recover and with 24 hours to work on it - most of which, the groundstaff (assuming they have more than one), will be fast asleep) - plus, if they're Northampton groundstaff - where's the motivation to have it ready for us?
Boothroyd said in an interview in the week that they had no matches postponed last season & he has no problem with 2 teams playing there & extra money would be spent on the pitch if needed

Of course he has a problem with it, but he wants the extra ££££ more. As for spending extra money on the pitch - what can they spend it on between Saturday tea-time and Sunday afternoon that will make a difference (mind you Homebase sometimes does 15% discounts over a week-end (other suppliers also available)
