I am potentially after one for West Brom depending on the seat. Isn’t this the Wolves draw thread though?

That was when we were away at Hungary, iirc because I wanted to get tickets there.

It was really poor, just as bad as last Friday’s performance. I distinctly remember thinking I could catch an early train at 2-0 but thought ‘what if we pull it back?’ and 5 minutes later it was 3-0 and too late to make the train.

So, time to bring out the old Wolves song.

When we won the cup we won the quarter away from home. We've lost the two home drawn quarter finals since.

Hate to break it to everyone... Birmingham and West Brom are at home on the Saturday. WMP are never going to allow it are they?

Wolves were due to play at home that day but only to Bournemouth.

So last year, there was 1 game on Sat and 3 on the Sunday.

West Brom are at home on the Sat 16th, so we won't play then.
Liverpool play in the Europa league on Thurs 14th, so they won't be Sat.

If I was a betting man, I'd say the middle game on the Sunday 17th

Not a bad draw when you look at it, underdogs no pressure on us would of really fancied us at home but let's embrace it a great chance of getting to the semi finals.

From the FA website

The draw

1
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Coventry City
2 Manchester United v Liverpool
3 Chelsea v Leicester City
4 Manchester City v Newcastle United

Winning clubs in the quarter-final will pick up £450,000 from the FA Cup prize fund, and ties will be scheduled across the weekend of Saturday 16 March 2024, with final dates and kick-off times to be confirmed following discussions with clubs, broadcast partners and local authorities.

Anyone else at the FA Cup game back in the mid 80s , midweek night game when Trevor Peake scored a late equaliser to get them back to Highfield Rd, and we celebrated like we had won the cup

And the early odds to win the cup. For anyone that wanted another trip to Wembley, bar being at home, it could've been better, could it??

On what basis do people think this is a winnable tie!?
They did an absolute job on West Brom, they are decent at home.
They will be all out for a Wembley semi-final with nothing to play for in the league.
Really is a shite draw.
Would have fancied us more away Vs Leicester.

It’s more winnable than Liverpool, City, Newcastle, Chelsea, so it is winnable in the circumstances.
They could have easily conceded to West Brom.

Of course Leicester away would be easier.

But it's still more winnable than Man City or Liverpool.

More winnable than Maidstone v Ipswich!

If we can't beat the Villans we'll just have to beat the Wolves.
