Sometimes it work to put the ball in the box and have a go some teams would have got into that position and passes it back to the full to start again.

I didn't see the replay, but thought maybe the initial clearance from the keeper had the striker offside.

I would say as VAR didn't review it, it wasn't. But we know what clowns they are!
