He just doesn't have any instinct, a dull unimaginative manager not cut out for football at this level

I bet they sit around talking about feelings before kick off. Fuck off Southgate you c**t, hope the team bus runs over your foot.

Has a manager ever been replaced during a tournament

Absolutely pathetic. I know it was going to be a harder game than Iran, but jesus christ that was woeful. If we'd played that any slower we'd have been standing still. No doubt more of the same to come against Wales as well, because Southgate daren't lose that one.

Southgate, just an idea, why don't you go to Afghanistan and take the knee and leave football to people who understand how to play the game

Well that was underwhelming…poor performance. Draw ok but not the way we played. As for Henderson coming on…clear Southgate was playing for the draw. Very disappointing

The attacking players we have and Mount played the full 90 mins. We're lacking chances and he puts f*cking Henderson on.

Wonder if the press will actually question Southgate for once. or just act like a point is a great result

Of course he does. Got to shore up the defence. Hasn't got the balls to go for it, because we might lose.

The fear of losing is greater to Southgate than the hunger to win. That was a poor watch.

I get it that it was a poor performance but like the Scotland match in the Euros that is much better result for us than them.

USA play a worldie in the world series and still only get a point against an abject England (who after the same amount of games top the table with a bollocking goal difference)
Tournament football - still a source of mystery to many.
Oh to be Argentina or Germany right now, yeah?

We're not prime 1990s Italy with an inpenetrable defence, playing this way is just toothless while still offering a decent chance of conceding. Play to your strengths-and they aren't at the back.

Is he not fit because that makes no sense.

I could see why he took Bellingham off. He was outstanding against Iran but couldn't do anything right today.

They virtually are. The US had to win far more than we did.

I actually think Maguire and Stones were decent, and I think Maguire is awful. Everyone else ranged from mediocre to terrible.

Nonsense. Some were appalling like Bellingham, Saka and Mount. McGuire played well.

If only the UK coverage was like RTE used to be; Giles, Dunphy and Brady make Roy Keane look softly spoken
