France aren't that much better than us here. Need something to settle our nerves and the ref to see a few decisions in their half rather than taking the easy ones in ours. We need to be a bit more fluid on the ball and maybe hit a few tackles the way they have. Overall a goal that came from not a lot other than a moment of excellence and not many other chances.

Trying to work out what’s missing. Kane trying to drag us up pitch. Saka more involved than Foden but not strong enough. Rice keeps running us into trouble, Bellingham only decent midfielder. I would consider Grealish early on.

No no ,sorry mate ,been very fair about our performance so far , my opinion of the game I feel is quite accurate ? Do you not agree ?

We're too slow in possession, a bit predictable, look a bit scared , and are better than what we're showing .

I think it's shit or bust time. He needs to bring on a maverick sooner rather than later and fortunately we have one in Maddison. Playing ponderous football at the back and hoping for a lucky break is even more of a gamble then shaking things up. Show some balls Southgate..

I think we have done okay. France do look dangerous, but I think we have been more than just in the game. Should have had a penalty too.

Some players not quite at their best, but we have 45 mins now to turn this round.

I would consider subbing Henderson. He's just been a bit slow.
