I know this will have conservationists up in arms, but maybe we should all just burn a lot more gas and oil to speed the process up.On a serious note, Saudi buy lots of arms from the west so no one will say anything to them. No one will say anything to Turkey either. They invaded Cyprus in 1974 and have illegally occupied the North of the island. Why? well the USA needed a base to be able to attack the middle east and Russia should the need arise. Cyprus said no because there were already several British bases on the island. So they supported the Turkish invasion, getting themselves a base in the eastern mediterranean and no one has said anything since.
The Middle East is a car crash and will be until the gas and the oil run out and when it does no one will care and they will destroy themselves in the name of tribal religion.

We should never have got involved in the Middle East in the first place. The whole area is a clusterfuck. Blair should be in chains for what he's done for this country.
