Due to us having a manager who clearly knows what he is doing has
indirectly put Sisu in a bit of of bother.
After years of lack of investment in the team they will have one hell of
a problem explaining why if they as in the past to other managers , fail to give MR the funds
to ensure the players on loan etc are not secured contractually.
Having the top scorer in the league together with all the other lonees
contributing to our best side for years, the ball literally is in Sisus court.
If they do not, their explaination why they cannot would be interesting to
say the least.
I also think the ground problem will be sorted.

They might just turn around and say sorry, we do not have enough fans and income to afford to sign these players on permanent contracts.

There is money, i'm convinced.
Clueless fired, Shaw hired and fired, MR and ST both signed on decent deals. 3 loans signings straight away, with Blair Adams in too.
Only time will tell.

Likely scenario? Agree a deal with ACL for the rent, above their magical £175k, tell us they can't afford McGoldrick because of that, and blame ACL/Council/Higgs Charity for it.

The truth of the matter? Not replacing one or two loanees, plus the sale of, say, O'Donovan, or McDonald, and another fringe player, together with Seppala having the balls to bet on increased attendances as a result of success, and they could easily afford McGoldrick.

Years of failing to back the manager?

And that's without the loans

Was going to write exact same thing. Losing our top goal scorer will not be the so called owners fault but EVERYONE else including the fans.

You've only really got a point if McGoldrick signs for another L1 side. I wouldn't want us to break the bank and similarly we have to comply for FFP.

I suspect that McGoldrick will be to blame for McGoldrick not signing.

But those on here will use it as another stick to prop up their argument. Just like previous players enticed by higher leagues and more money.

How would it be the fans fault? How could they possibly blame us? What a strange remark!

A couple on here suggested we needed Clive Platt back... Much to my disgust, never liked him, awful, he worse was than Kyle.

No to Fluffsta... I've seen and heard digressions in my time, but that's just crazy!!

When did people suggest that? Who are they? Am I over tired or... I'll say it again... has the world gone mental?

Nope, there were definitely people on here in the summer suggesting it was a mistake to have let him go! Got to agree with sbt on this, he was awful!

It was when we was on a rotten run, can't remember exactly who, but I remember thinking  they said we need someone to hold the ball up and Platt was the man, and pointed to his performances at N'hampton (v Cardiff but not the league).

The fans wanted us to pay the rent, we don't have enough fans coming to games. It will always be some one but them

Are Ginetta and NLHWC the same person? Both hold the same views, from Leamington, and missing in action at the same time?

Ginetta always had a lot of other names on GMK too so he would have somebody to agree with him.

I assume Non League has to change his name when Thorn got the elbow as keeping him was the only way of making that happen

i have a horrible feeling that they will sell Christie to a top championship or a premier club as a sacrifice for the cash flow

we know, and knew, the owners 'does what it says on the tin',
it's such a shame that their abysmal lack of footballing knowledge has placed us in the current predicament,
with a modicum of common sense they could have seen us top of the league,
the stadium bartering could have been a secondary matter,
crowds would be flocking to the ground,
the current circumstance is dire,
not on the pitch though,
if re-structuring means weeding out poor expense then i don't think we have to look too far for the freeloaders,
time to get rid of those who are about as much use as.............................
