We better, I am travelling there expecting nothing less. A reaction to announcement

Tranmere fan here, The two pubs by the ground are welcome to away fans, the Clipper and the Prenton Park both decent boozers. It's not ruff really mate, it is more towards Birkenhead... but it's nothing like the boozers over Goodison and Anfield. The are a few other pubs a few minute walk from the ground called the Halfway house and the sportsman.

We are doing a collection in the Cliipper and Prenton for the children of fallen soldiers, we also have a few of your fans collecting for a Cpl Thacker that was killed in June, he lived in Coventry.

Was going to pop on and ask if there was anyone who might want to help out in the other pub as I can't find any Coventry fans to cover that pub.... Sadly I won't be there as a group of us are leaving Prenton Park on a 40 mile run to raise funds (got 4k so far), so Mrs Ninja Nevin is taking control of the collection.

How you thinking you will get on? Suprised to see you struggle so far, good team on paper! But league one is tricky, if you come up against a well drilled team that work hard it's a hard league.
