The GW is a bit of a pit to be honest. Head to the Town centre if you are getting in early, a whole host of pubs with cheap beer and cheap grub, as well as McDonalds, Greggs, Chippy, Subway etc. I would suggest keeping your colours undercover though to avoid not being let in. The Merlin is decent enough to, right near the ground and generally the pub that away fans gather at. Beer quite pricey, although 4 pint pitchers bring the cost down a bit, if its a large away following then getting served can be hard work but going by the numbers you are bringing it wont be too bad.
