Any parking recommendations?
All of the nearby pre book car parks online seem to be sold out for Saturday

You've got a reasonable walk from there

Ironically the railway seems a bit awkward for those travelling by rail? Wrong side of the stadium.

Plenty of street parking apparently. No restrictions in place.

I agree. If you're going by train it's probably best to drink in the town centre and get the tram in.

Anyone know anywhere between the station and the ground that’s open to away fans and will show the early kick off?

About 20 mins? not going on Sat but was looking at that pub for the cup game. Is there parking near by? I’m travelling by train but others I’m meeting are going up by car.

Park at Meadowhall free park and ride just off the M1 and get the tram to Leppings Lane

Save you the faff of driving through the centre of Sheff and can hop off in the city centre for a beer if time allows

Its a good pub with decent beers. If your going on the train have a couple in the railway station bar , it's really smart with great beers

Plenty on Division Street and West Street . There's Yates and The Walkabout. Hop on the tram to get to the ground

If you walk out of the station and go straight ahead up past Hallam University you then hit the centre. Keep going up crossing a dual carriageway and follow the signs to the City Hall. Keep walking up with the City Hall on the RHS and you'll hit a load of pubs Tram stops nearby

I normally have a couple near station Tap, Howard etc. But not been Hillsborough before so I wanted somewhere a little closer.

I Was considering trying the pub next to the tram stop (assume it will be home only but I won't be in colors so may be okay).

Saw the Railway mentioned a couple of times, how far of a walk is that to the ground?

Someone else recommended getting the Tram to Hillsborough stop (2 stops before Leppings Lane which is the closest to the ground). And there a highstreet with a good few pubs on there. Then its 15min walk to the ground or jump back on the Tram.

10 min walk, helps that it's on the LL side of the ground.

It's a bit out of the way for public transport for Hillsborough- you would need to know where you're going to get to the trams . Good pub though

Think it was The Graduate we got shepherded to years ago for a Sheff Utd fixture, came out of the station about ten of us no colours on. Copper filming us and said up the hill and into the pub, we said we are up for the snooker as it was actually on that weekend. Response was 'Piss off, and get up the hill to the away pub' lol

There's a couple of coach loads going to The Waverley, near the M1, for around 11.30am. Then onto the ground later.

The thing is the ground has been there that long people bought houses knowing it’s there. Unlike by the CBS where people had a stadium dumped on their doorstep.

The nicest place to drink in Sheffield is Kelham Island - take the tram to Shalesmoor or walk from the station. The Ship (near the tram stop) has sport on TV, as does Bar Kelham. Salt is a microbrewery pub that does good food (Bao Buns). There are two excellent real ale pubs - the Fat Cat and Kelham Island Tavern. There are good places to eat too, and more good pubs across the river in Neepsend. You can then take the tram from Shalesmoor to the ground.
