for those of us using public transport is tube to Waterloo then overground to Norbiton the preferred route and if so anyone recommend any decent pubs around Waterloo?

I'm doing tube to Vauxhall then overground to Norbiton

Tube to London Bridge from Euston and drinking around that area. Then 1 stop to Waterloo on Jubilee line for the 13.57 to Norbiton.
