Just seen Prutton's Twitter page and he appears to be waving goodbye to Sheffield Wednesday. He tweeted a message of thanks to the fans and implies he looks forward to what the future brings. Pressley held talks with the loan players and those out of contract this morning regarding their futures, so it this a sign he is staying?
@PruttonD Sheffield Wednesday, in your entirety, thankyou! You've been amazing to me and it's been nothing less than an honour. Onwards.....#WAWAW x

That means he's left ShefWendy which we knew anyway. Doesn't necessarily mean he's been offered or accepted anything here.

But doesnt it seem a little coincidental he announces his departure at around the time he spoke to Pressley? Plus my friend met him in the Cov shop and DP told him he liked the city of Coventry better than Sheffield, he was enjoying his time here and wanted to stay

Well he's looking for a contract so he's hardly likely to tell some randomer in the Club shop that he hates it here is he?

His contract has ended at Wednesday. That's all we knew before and it's all we know now. If he's training with the main squad when they report back after the World Cup you might have been proved right.

More chance of the tweet confirming his departure as apposed to him signing a deal with us. He was out of contract and looked to be moving on anyway

Why would he come here if he has a choice. If he has not got a choice you need to ask why ?

only seen him play once, v crewe away thought he was dreadful, lucky not to get sent off was so deep and very slow. Not sure at his age what he brings to a team Eakin thinks he's great but most fans are indifferent or think he's poor.

He's looked very solid when I've seen him but I think positionally, he'll clash with Fleck as they both like to drop deep.

Saw him for the first time on Saturday, don't think he played a forward pass all afternoon.

He is VERY defensive so i think if we do get him we should bring in an attacking midfielder. I know i've mentioned his name before but James Wallace is out of contract at Tranmere so maybe him? Also rumours of Fleck leaving so could be a few changes to the midfield
