Make of this what you will...but Sport Universal Process (S.U.P) based in Nice, France has acquired 100% of Prozone Sports Ltd from Sky Blue Sports and Leisure Ltd
I don't know the ins and outs of ProZone and Ranson's involvement...but aren't we owned by Sky Blue Sports and Leisure Ltd? Is this our attempt at raising some cash?

ummm very intresting news that one about time something happened on investment front
with cov what else are they going to flog off the ricoh after we bought it of the council and charity!!!
Before we get excited........... Sky Blue Sports & Leisure own CCFC yes but it does not mean that there will be funds available from the disposal of Prozone (also owned by SBSL). Could just be a way of cashing in and taking funds back out ...... or simply financing the losses for the group
Also the only marketable asset in the group was Prozone - so all of a sudden that appreciating asset has gone and the cash used to clear debts. Will it make it harder to attract new investors because we are left with only a big loss making business?
Dont assume it will help fund player purchases - but it might provide some funds
Also we have just lost control of the analysis service that was provided to CCFC - hope that wont cost more now.
Sorry to be putting a downer on the news but I prefer to wait see before assuming this is necessarily good news
Plus as the only profitable part of the group then the trading figures will look worse overall for SBS&L Group (year to 31/05/12 will look better because of profit on sale but after that unless things change then thats a big problem for the group)
If I were SISU I would sell as a going concern to get best price for that part of the group.... leaving it until the group goes into administration would not be a good move. So it could be an exit strategy ..... I hope not
Will certainly raise short term cash for the group if not CCFC
Hopefully is part of a strategy to get new investors but not holding my breath over it

I hope others won't get to offended if I get a little bit excited by this.
Its the only thing i can cling on to in this so far summer of nothingness.
I'm going to get mightily drunk and go down the local bar and have a fight with the smallest and oldest bloke i can find, and just pretend for one night only that we are turning the corner.
I will come back on here again tomorrow ,as long as I don't lose the said fight and he's actually put me in hospital, when i have sobered up and realise that yet again it was just an illusion, and the news is that we're still in a mess, and the latest rumour is that we are hopefully signing the Hayes and Yeadings players player of the year, on a verbal two year contract
"Prozone offloaded by Sky Blue Sports & Leisure
Sky Blue Sports And Leisure Ltd, the vehicle used to allow SISU to buy Coventry City FC has sold all its interest in Prozone.
Despite Ray Ranson saying at a Fans Forum that he had sold Prozone, the club accounts for 2010 showed that the Sky Blues had ownership right on the product which monitors players performance during a game and in training and is used by CCFC and a number of clubs at home and abroad.
Sports Universal Process based in Nice, France have said in a statement that they have acquired all 100% of the interest owned by SBSL."
Prozone was sold by RR to Sky Blue Sports & Leisure so no mystery Covsupport News. RR didnt own SBS&L and the Sky Blues ie CCFC never owned any part of Prozone so there was no deception! Saying that Prozone was offloaded implies it was a burden on the group...... strange because it was bought for £13m plus and made annual profits, and grew each year....... think you can expect SBS&L to have made a profit on the deal .... I will be surprised if it funds any squad additions though. Sorry but unthinking reporting does irritate
on a calmer note ....................How is the head Rev was it a good night out ? lol

Hopefully the cuts and bruises will heal soon, but my broken neck is another thing.
