Absolutely gutted but really proud of the team tonight. Couldn't ask much more. Yeah, Haji was off it, but let's not crucify him. He's been a big player over the last 2 years at times for us. If we can keep the nucleus of this team together and add to it for next year then we have a real chance. Crucial to keep Rudoni & Van Ewijk. Maybe switch things up in the forward department, new left back and maybe a Sheaf replacement and we'll be a very good team.

Keep your chins up everyone. Premier League is shit anyway.

Also, saved us all a couple of hundred quid each on a Wembley trip.

Superb effort but we didn't play that well in final third, Haji and Rudoni didn't quite raise their games. But that football it's tough. A classic match and yet again we raise our profile and we are on an upward curve. Next season could be immense with a couple of purchases.

Proud is absolutely the word. Yes we can gripe and moan over a couple of individual performances but as a collective what a game tonight and what a season. This team, our club are still on an upwards trajectory and our time will come.#PUSB

Definitely proud.

To go up there are totally dominate the game for such long periods, was phenomenal.

I am not going to slate any of the players after that performance.

Wright, definitely off his game again, but I wonder if he is carrying a knock. Just weird to go so off the boil all of a sudden

Thought Eccles was excellent when he came on too.

Anyway, I think it's a time to applaud the team for a great effort and not the time to start pointing fingers

I haven't heard what FL has said. He must be tremendously thrilled by the performance tonight

Superb performance away from home. They should be proud of not only how they played today but also to have turned it from 17th in the table to where we are tonight.

Just watched Lampards post match interview and it’s obvious just how much this defeat hurts him but also how proud he is of his players and I think of been part of our club.

Cant wait to see where he takes us next season.

99% proud, the 1% missing was for Wright. Cant be proud of that performance.

Us going there and dominating them should be a fucking wake up call to this team. We can absolutely challenge for Autos, but we desperately need better goalscoring forwards, more depth and need to get alot better at taking 4-6 points from
bottom half sides. We shouldnt be the team having to raise our levels to beat sides around us and then getting complacent.

Beating Sunderland 3-0, West Brom 2-0 and then going to the likes of Luton, Plymouth and Derby and getting beaten is not good enough.

If you add a Hamer 2.0, Vik 2.0, Callum Doyle to this team and jettison the deadwood, we'll make it.

We have some real warriors in there.

I think we miss the flair other teams have going forward and we can be slightly regimented.

Very proud of the team and club considering where we’ve been. Not sure how much heart ache we can take though after Luton, Man Utd and now this - one day it’ll be our turn though.

Haji has always had these poor performances in his locker, not sure it's anything to do with a knock

I’m really proud of the team too. It felt like a real kick in the guts to lose it that way, so lord only knows how the players are feeling. On to next season and what a great one it promises to be! I’d renew my season ticket tomorrow if I could. CTID PUSB

Yeah, but it's been some time now. How many games since his last decent performance?

You definitely expect something like an excellent performance every 3 games or so.

How long since he really played well?

Tough to take but the better team is going to be watching a final instead of playing in it. Next season we go again and will be in the top 6 i have no doubt.

Just keep backing ALL the players lets not go slagging them off. They have given us a good season and something to build on and look forward too.

I agree with everything, I went into this playoff game with low expectations and came out shouting at the screen after what I'd seen from the team. I love this club, the ups and downs make it all worth it. Our time is coming..

Can't be any prouder. Gutted to lose the tie after being best in both games. Big summer ahead. Clear out the deadwood and we go again better and stronger.

I am.immensley proud of the team especially Saka who absolutely gave his all but totally disgusted with the lazy bleeding Yank plank, 8 games and this was the 2 worst of the lot.. No heart, no interest, no anticipation, no control and no shots absolutely disgraceful...piss off back to Turkey !!!

I'm so proud too.

Sheaf has been very good but his time with club seems to be up.Needs a fresh start and hope for his sake his regular injuries stop.

Simms, can we just accept he isn't good enough and won't be. Let's hope someone gives him another opportunity. Nice guy for sure but not up to it for the level we are at.

Wright has skills but unreliable and would be happy for some club in a less competitive league take him of our hands. Cash in.

If we had better consistant strikers in last two seasons who knows where we would be now.

Can't ask for much more from a season of football. The icing on the cake would have been Wembley, but Sheffield Utd are miles ahead of the other 3 teams in the playoff and should easily dispatch of Sunderland.

Fantastic effort from the group collectively. So much to look forward to next season.

All I wanted was for a performance where we turned up, battled and left it all out there and if that wasn’t enough then so be it. That’s exactly what we got. One of the best collective away performances for some time.
