I know not everyone agrees with everyhting i say (Understatement of the year ) but i think everyone agrees this stupid thign with SISU and ACL is getting out of hand, so i think we need to do something about it. A boycott has already been sugested, but it wont be SISU or ACL missing out, it would be the lads on that field. They need our support so a boycott would hurt the club, not those at fault. We need widespread SISU/ACL protests like last season, cus i hate to see the club suffer cus of the ignorance of SISU, so what do you think guys? A couple of SISU out signs and sh*t load of chants? We need to do something

I suggest we write anonymous admiring letters to ACL and Sisu and make believe each is from the other party and then get them to meet on a blind date outside the Godiva Statue in Broadgate.

They can then go for a slap-up meal at Buttons in the Burges and a new romance can be born.

Yeah probably. They would be telling ACL they charged them for a full English breakfast when they only had egg and chips.

Liam, think the problem is for most of us fans is that we don't know the facts. We don't know who to believe. It isn't black and white. 3 months ago most would have said SISU OUT - no problem. And they do seem to have acted badly in not paying even just a bit of the rent. Think most of us agree on that. But the rent is massive. The club use the ground, what, three or four times a month? - and it costs them roughly £100,000. There may be other add ons as well. I'm no expert. So they are trying to hardball out of that. Not sure if anyone here knows for sure what, if any, money goes to City from car parking, beer, pies etc. Lots of conflicting views. So who do you protest against? SISU and ACL/The Council? All of them?
Sure it would be something if 10,000 of us did a pitch protest or went to the front entrance and shouted a lot, but who would we be protesting at?
They are all villains to a degree. Not all black and white. To be honest it has surprised me just how many on here have slightly altered their take on those SISU people. They're not best friends with them but the mindset has changed a bit.
Not the exciting answer you probably want, but I admire your passion for youur club. Have you got 10,000 friends to bring to games? We could do with more of your passion for the club.

You could start by writing one to the Council.

But the old rent deal is history, why mention it now, they have been offered the chance to pay £34,000 per month going forward and the £1 million owed over 10 years, which is another £8,400 per month as long as interest is not charged.

The offer to pay the debt over 10 years I think is quite fair. No-one can say ACL haven't been reasonable over that offer.

Not talking about the amount of the outstanding money, talking about being able to pay over a very long time.

Ashdown - matchday gate receipts this season have rarely been more than £35,000. We play on average 2 home games a month. Paying £34,000 a month in rent for a league 1 club that only has 2-3k paying customers for a league game on top of ST holders is not sustainable. The club simply cannot afford that. SISU won't keep pumping their own money in to pay a bill they do not think is fare in the first place, so the longer this goes on, the more likely it is they pull out and the club goes under (properly under). £400,000 per year is a nonsense, and we should not agree to pay that under any circumstances.

I heard they are gonna offer us the chance to pay it over 10 years and lower the rates down to 150k rent per season. SISU are morons if they dont accept this

Horse. For it to be purely beef would make it higher in price than an 'average League One' pie; which just isn't cricket
