Seriously this is the way to do it. Protest outside the FL League headquarters at 30 Gloucester Place London W1U 8FL.

This would bring you huge press attention like the Spirit of Shankly did with their ticket price protest last month.

Do it under your own banner and "Football league not fit for purpose".

You would get widespread solidarity from this, especially if you involve the Spirit of Shankly, Stand Against Modern Football, Arsenal Black Scarf Movement etc.

Stop fannying around outside Sixfields and take the fight to the Football League who have allowed it to happen on their watch!

Come on where's your passion. If you did it this time advertised it properly and invited fans of other Football League club's pissed off with the Football League you would get loads.

Just do the same as the Spirit of Shankly, meet in Hyde Park and march five minutes down the road to Gloucester Place.

We've had our passion beaten out of us by years of mismanagement.

Come on you can do better than that.

It's pretty easy. Organise a protest at the Football League's headquarters under your own banner and "Football League not fit for purpose"

Contact the following groups and you will get their support and organisational help; Spirit of Shankly, Stand against Modern Football, Arsenal Black Scarf Movement, Football Supporter's Federation.

Congregate in Hyde Park and march through the streets to the FL headquarters.

Great opportunity to highlight your plight and get support from the wider football supporting family. Huge press attention and great PR.

We do actually have a Coventry City London Supporters Club. Haven't heard much from them on the situation the Club is in. Maybe they should organise this ?

It won't take much organisation. Need to contact police. If you made contact with the Spirit of Shankly group who organised the "ticket price" protest (attended by 4-500 from all over the country) they would gladly help you out.

You need to realise that this is bigger than just CCFC. You are just one of many clubs failed by the suits at the Football League. Organise it under your own banner of "Coventry City must stay in Coventry AND "Football League not fit for purpose" and you will get loads of fans from other Football League Club's coming along. Would be covered by all the major media too.

NTFC has a good point. Now the intentions are known the gloves are off. On talksport yesterday there was huge support for our plight. I think there would be a good turn out for such a protest.

Totally agree. Like I've said it wouldn't even take much organisation.

Thought i'd give this a bump because it is the best way to take the fight to the Football League and gain significant media coverage/fan solidarity.

It's good of you to express concern but I believe you are a distinct minority. Football in all ways is very selfish and insular. I think the longest thread on here was about Portsmouth and the general view then the league were giving them preferential treatment.

The reality is they weren't and supporters were not to blame. No one outside of Coventry will be interested. Mystified if we play at Northampton but it wi not affect the other clubs so there is no interest.

This will play out in the way sisu want. Fans could try and apply pressure on the council and ACL but there has never been a will to do that.

Just to make this easy for the more proactive amongst you. You do have a tremendous amount of solidarity from the football community. It is clear that the Football league have let you down badly as they have done numerous other clubs. You must protest outside the Football League's headquarters at Gloucester Place London just off Regent's Park. small time protests in the provinces will do little good.

Organise a march from Regent's Park to the Football League's headquarters 5 minutes away. Organise it under two banners. 1 Keep CCFC in Coventry 2. Football League not fit for purpose.

Contact the Football Supporter's Federation, Supporter's Direct, The Spirit of Shankly, Stand Against Modern Football, Arsenal Black Scarf Movement, Spurs against Modern football. They will be more than willing to help and attend.

The SPirit of Shankly held a similar march the the Prem and FL H.Q's attended by over 500 people from all over the country about ticket prices.

Advertise the protest on social media, and the above organisations and contact the press. You will get a national press attention.

Regent's Park and the Football league's headquarters are only 10 mins away from Euston Station, meaning CCFC fans could come en masse via train. Pref at the weekend.

Well I'd go.

As long as the message is 'Coventry City should be playing in Coventry' what's not to get behind?!?

I think you make a very good suggestion.

It needs the various supporters clubs, groups, Sky Blue Trust to co-operate quickly....

The SBT 'should' lead this......and maybe it should be on the day of our first 'home' game?

NTFC is showing more passion for this then anyone else, he has a genuinely interesting point, just too many want us to go off and die, all this negativity, FFS Blackburn protested better than us against the chicken farmers and there support is far less than ours!

Agreed but I wouldn't say there is a lack of passion.......but much of the fight has been drained away.

I'm happy to help....

Dont agree that other clubs fans would not support us - additional travelling for those 'away fans' to northampton> ironic that wolves, Crewe,Carlisle,Port vale,Preston, Shrewsbury fans for example would have to pass the Ricoh on the M6, and travel through Cov by train. extra cost and time.

It really is a case of if you organise it people will come. Football establishment already reeling from the last protest. Don't let them weasel out it.

All cov fans should go dressed as a pair of b*ll*cks, to show the FA to grow a pair. I would have said they dont give a rat's ass and honetly expected them to let the club get liquidated, but at least for us they've taken the easy option and given into SISU.

Scared of their lawyers, are they...?

Well I've tried to help you with taking the fight to the Football League in London but you seem obsessed with piddling protests in the provinces. I wish you the best of luck.
