What's worse is that shortly after that horrendous miss he has some friendly , smiley chit chat with a Bradford defender whilst waiting for a throw in . Dreadful. He should never play again.

To think he's taking up the loan space of a midfielder...

Who signed him ? Pressley had been sacked and Mowbray had not yet been appointed

When he comes on the game changes negatively for us.
His miss was pathetic and he knows it.
He was obviously bought in to be a target man but he can't head a ball.
Get rid.

Awful player, not sure if that is a false accusation under the trade descriptions act though calling him a player

He isn't great and cannot be forgiven for that miss in the second half, and I am by no means jumping to his defence but, he's played two/three games for us, probably accumulating to less than an hour.

Maybe we should allow him a little more time before completely dismissing him and accusing him of being worse than Kevin Kyle, in addition to the numerous comparisons/criticisms that I am sure will soon populate this thread.

He cost £2.5mil once, not that I am suggesting this is the measure of a player, but it does imply he must have shown ability at some point in his career?!

I'm struggling to understand why we brought him in, we didn't need another "striker" if I can call him that. Hopefully his form will improve but I'm not confident about it

Regardless of price, look at his record of goals scored and at the age of 28, his clubs are getting worse and worse who he signs for and the record does not improve and even though short bursts of a game, you can still out jump a player at least once in a game, or maybe not.

Is he even a footballer ,what is the point in him .
He is quickly becoming one of our worst most pointless signings ever

He looks like he is amazing in the air, I am not sure if it is timing but it looks like he has a great leap but doesn't win a header?

Miller would have scored all three sitters tonight.

Actually, no, he probably wouldn't.

Waggott playing Football Manager. That tosser is responsible for all the dross that we have signed for the last three years.
The quicker he goes the better.

Anyone who misses pretty much an open goal from 5 yards should be shipped out

Ffs must a thread be started after every gamw???

He missed a sitter but bar that didn't really do anything bad as he had piss poor service.

Stokes did well today so give this guy a chance too

When in a relegation battle, why sign a striker with a record of something like 2 goals in twenty odd games?

That miss was as bad as it gets, surely. The words "cow's arse" and "banjo" were being used at that point. It was so appalling that most people around us were just in fits of laughter, presumably at the idea that this guy was actually being paid a wage to play football professionally.

At one point he attempted a pass in midfield and knocked the ball into 30 yards of space. He is truly hopeless. Presumably the £2.5m fee paid for him was before he fractured both legs in 6 places!

The worst player I have ever seen play for CCF....think he's played his last game for us. But the broader picture tonight was promising for us, no doubt about it!

Not being funny but he's had one bad game?

He was bad today, especially the misplaced pass at the end but worst player ever seen? No mention on this forum of Tudgay's and Nouble's sitters, but I guess they aint loan players so they are imnune from criticism.

So he did fook all except for miss a sitter and you say that we shouldn't make any comments against him?

We need strikers that can make things happen and when they are in the right position to score be able to do something. What has he done so far? We are in a relegation battle. We don't have the time to see if someone can improve. He is taking up a loan place of a player that can make a difference. As in a midfielder that can provide chances for our strikers.

Tudgay and Nouble have gained us points in a poor season. We know what they can do. Whereas with him.....

He missed a sitter, he can't jump and can't hold the ball up. He chased back passes when he had no chance of getting the ball. Other than that he didn't do anything bad. I could do that and I've got a dodgy hip, a club foot and six fingers on my left hand.

In his defence, if he hadn't chased down the back passes he'd have been criticised too.
