these are just a few of our problems, and it just highlights what a mammoth task robins has in store for him to turn things around! it's not just a case of finding confidense and form...

1-murphy. not good enough. continues to be a liability and again yesterday, didn't come off line for one of their crosses but fortunately the player headed it straight at him so didnt go in. Needs changing.

2-dealing with set pieces and crosses. year after year we seem to still fail with them, so simple, yet so costly and we never change! with a keeper that commanded his box we may be able to cut the goals from crosses down but from free kicks defensively we don't pick up men and show less commitment to get to the ball than the attackers.

Flow and tempo of attacks- our attacks are ineffective and non-threatening because we fail to move the ball around with enough pace and put it into dangerous areas. the players seem to be so low on confidence and have the inability to gel that we can't piece our attacks together at all! opposition defences always seem calm whilst we're attacking. whilst other teams bomb it up the pitch, linking up well and mixing the attacks up out wide and through the middle, sometimes even over the top. we don't.

Team selection- Hopefully robins will sort this out. i like the way he used his subs yesterday and how he changed the team around including the formation but still we're not playing our strongest 11. glad he's brought some pace in with moussa too. good to see hussey being dropped, although he has a bad attitude, he has not chance of playing well when the fans treat him so poorly!

weak players- macca, daniels (too much too soon), baker's touch and go, kilbane, wood is clumsy, clarke better yesterday but still no where near the required standard. Barton needs a kick up the backside and he'll e a great asset for us! i'm looking forward to moussa being brought in, he'll add some threat to our attacks. and worst of all. murphy!

bad attitudes- some of the players don't seem to care less, as robins said yesterday, if they don;t like what he does then they'll be on their way out and i like that in a manager. it stamps their authority down immeditately! that's what our players need. some rules and discipline!

confidence- we still play with no confidence. after birmingham i thought we'd get going again but with the results, it's only gonna get worse. somehow they've got to get it back or else we're going nowhere.

clumsy- still giving away cheap goals. losing possesion easily, panicking on the ball

effort- carlisle put 200% in yesterday, they won by battling on through. they didn't play particularly pretty football but they did the right things at the right times dna deserved to win. they knew we wanted all the space we could get in the midfield so they compacted the pitch in the middle, leaving us no room to play and it payed off for them! if we worked as hard as them each week we'd be top right now. we still don't defend in numbers and put our bodies on the line at every opportunity.

pressure- against birmingham we applied pressure and they found it hard to break through. everyone was commited and we battled hard and won, just like carlisle did yesterday. why can't we do that every game? because i know for sure we'll try exceptionally hard against arsenal and we'll make them scrape for a win.

no plan B- when we couldn't break through yesterday, we kept trying to work the ball through the middle but kept failing due to a lack of space. had we of kept the ball and played from the back, they would of tired and we would of got some rythmn but instead we panicked. we've got to mix up our attacks more.

take chances- although we have limited chances in a match, we fail to finish time and time again. mcsheffrey yesterday wasted 2 golden opportunities and baker could of pulled the ball back and fleck would of finished at one stage too but instead stop wide. we've got to grasp every chance of a goal with both hands and be less wasteful.

There is something unsettling the players, they are not that bad, very few of them are trying. I think it's to do with contract terms & the fact that some players are on fat terms & not putting in the effort for their rewards.

Team Spirit is non existent.

I read in another post Robins will change tactics in a game.. so that source of moaning should be in the past.
