Reminds me of a great extract from an article The Guardian did on the state of the club/Sisu a few years ago...

'Then, at the end of the meeting, someone asked if there was any other business and Hoffman remembers Sisu’s representative, Onye Igwe, raising his hand. “Onye said: ‘Yes, I want to raise the subject of our mascot.’ The club was going bust and he said: ‘I think Sky Blue Sam is too fat and it’s not setting a good example for children.’ That’s when Ray Ranson [the former chairman] said: ‘Onye, it’s a fucking elephant.'

“Onye, it’s a fucking elephant” is a line which will live on in folklore.

He was a minor shareholder I think, and possibly still is. Does sometimes post about the club on social media.

The role that Dave boddy has played I think has been significant in getting the fans back onside , I was thinking how many people had messed up the opportunity and SISU for all their faults had finally made the right appointment
