By most sites they’ve got triple our xG and the vast majority of the momentum. They’ve also actually had a shot on target and the majority of possession.

We got better but all the football is in our half not theirs bar a couple of spells.

If we are going to use them, you should. Same with corners.

Problem is, Milan's throw isn't great. Whereas Bobby Thomas could throw it from the half way line for Barnsley and it's not been used once.

I think that’s pushing it. We had a good five minute spell but otherwise it’s been pretty much all them and we’re lucky not to be three down.

Fair enough , we gave a couple of soft opportunities up sure , I'm quite happy how we grew into it though , think second half we will push on .. they have some good players but the ref keeps blowing for the softest shite

Dovin, Bassette and JDS have played well. Simms has zero confidence.
MVE and Sheaf under par first half, hopefully that will change after the break.

I just can’t see how we’re going to start a run of picking up points - something is badly off this year and doesn’t seem to be improving

Weird half . Left hand side JDs ,Rudoni and Bassette playing well , right hand side Eccles , MvE and Thomas look way off it .
Would have BTA or Wright ready to come on for Simms early second half

Dovin proving why he should be number 1
Dasilva our best defender by far
Eccles, Rudoni and Sheaf all poor
MVE and Thomas struggling

It's a water spray bottle for the plants.

We are lucky to have moved into a old Victorian house. It's lovely. But creaky.

I think we’ve actually looked alright. They’ve obviously had the better chances though.

Referee has been dreadful, but I think both teams will feel they should have a few goals. Sheaf and Simms not at the races, Dasilva impressive and Bassette doing the work of two up front.

They’re certainly there for the taking but so are we.

We’re letting Preston have 58% possession by the way. They average 46% a game.

That’s how bad we are with the ball.

Dovin, Bassette, Dasilva: Good
Rudoni, Binks: OK

Anyone else I’d be happy to replace at the moment. MvE has been poor but not sure I’d want Saka out there or Eccles and Torp in the middle. Defence has been poor but they’re all poor. Simms for Wright maybe?

Not too bad, getting the better of possession towards half time.

Don’t mind the formations switch, be good to see a (sort of) old school big and little combination up front.

But we’re a bit screwed if either WB gets injured.

We’re so top heavy it’s mad.

Decent half. Just missing a bit of composure final third. Dasilva has been excellent. Bassette is an absolute pest and I’m still trying to work out why Dovin was ever dropped.

We look pretty average, no surprises considering results & confidence. Still lacking composure & control in the middle, again shouldn’t be surprised with that either as that’s been one consistent since start of the season.
Unsure what I’d do to change its been relatively poor from both sides. We need to move the ball faster & play with more tempo.

Odds on whoever nicks a goal wins this 1-0.

It’s a bit better but it feels very much like a lower mid table clash. It’s refreshing at least to have a proper ‘keeper in goal though.

Really frustrating, because we have got in very good positions and then not delivered the final ball.

That cross in from Sheaf when we broke away, was awful. Really thought we were in there.

As others have said, MVE not having.a good game and Thomas' passing just isn't getting better is it.

Dasilva has been our best outfield player. Dovin has done well.

I think Wright could be key today if he gets on.

Possession is the single most useless statistic in football. We’re playing to hit them on the counter and it’s getting us some decent positions.

It's not been a great performance and we have rode our luck at times. But it has been better than some this season.

Need to build on it in second half. Need to keep possession better and move the ball a bit quicker.

Playing okay, tactics seem a lot more counter attack minded than the possession based football we have played recently.
