Ya everyone played great

JDS maybe stood out for me but tbh I'm just in awe of his close control and how well he knows his role

He isn't the only one regarding their role . Such a well coached team. These years are their peaks in careers when they look back, will never have plays dbetter individually or as part of a team

Grimes is going to be up there with Doyle, Kelly as signings that have changed the club. He is such a special player and deserves to be up with those 2.

What a signing he has been. Was so good tonight strolled it with Tank.

8s all round. Would have been 9s if we had needed to get out of second gear.

Really good to see KKH come on. He’s been very unlucky really. Got a glimpse of his pace and looked v assured.

I actually forgot how certain we all were that Milan was off in the summer. Bet he’s glad he stayed! Reckon we keep them both if we go up or would Milan become the back up with an upgrade bought in?

I'd have JDS as MotM. Just oozed class tonight, to a level he never quite has. His touch was immaculate. It's been building with those recent assists and good form. His confidence must be sky (blue) high atm.

FTT was odds on certainty for MOTM until he went off. Grimes took that honour though

Special word for the subs. KHH looked really good. Esse looked dangerous and I was really impressed with Markelo too.

Torp and Eccles blended in seamlessly.

JDS was excellent and everyone else put in very good performances.

FTT...FTT...can't think which player has FTT as his initials...

Can you believe that I thought of "Funky Tank Tackler?" before I got what you actually meant?

Preston offered nothing. I am sure their game plan was to totally avoid our midfield but they just sent awful longs balls from their full backs. It made it so easy for us today.

Rushworth 8
Van Ewijk 8 - Looked faster than his usual self tonight
Woolfenden 7
Kitching 7.5
DaSilva 7.5
Grimes 8.5 - Solid
Onyeka 8.5 - Really starting to find match fitness now.
Thomas-Asante 8 - Constant pressure tonight
Sakamoto 8 - What a gem of a player he has become
Simms 7.5
Mason-Clark 8 - Beat his man many times and then supplied a cross

Markelo 7 - Looked great
