Living in Preston at the mo and walked past 2 players yesterday in town and was going to heckle but thought better of it as the 1 was like 9'8"!! Think it's that Clarke. The other was Kilkenny I think.

Poor game so far.

Ref is shit and I'd hate to have to watch Preston's tactics every week

Listening to BBC Lancs. Swanson should be sent off and Pne refused a definite penalty they reckon.

His foot was pretty high and he was very late, seen them given. Never a pen though.

I agree

That said keeper should have been booked for retaliating and raising his hand

Never a pen. More or less in my eye line and I saw it as a good challenge

What a drab affair this is turning out to be.

Lots of giving the ball away and Tudgay is sooooo frustrating to watch.

Come on city. Missing the new talisman for sure.

I don't understand why they would swap o'brien to the right side of central to replace Thomas and bring Swanson on the left side. Both are right footed and o'brien had built up a decent understanding with Haynes.

Haynes just had the ball out wide and his nearest player was 30 yards away running away from him, no one going to help. So frustrating.

I hope the club didn't raise this fact. It's worrying!

Need to change Swanson at HT. That early booking has taken him out of the game

PNE finding their number 7 every time. Good job the only good thing he's good at is rolling around to con the ref!

City are controlling and limiting Preston. Just need to work out how to get up the pitch...

One minute to be added for stoppages as it remains 0-0 between the #SkyBlues and @pnefc

If we did heat maps in this division (public ones anyway) ours wouldnt look pretty right now. How many times have we gone backwards because we've no option forwards?

Think a change is needed.

Alsopp once again not filling me with confidence.

Their number 7 is getting away from everyone with his pace and PNE continue to use it against us.

Jackson and Tudgay up top isn't working

Swanson is a passenger since getting yellow carded

Better second half please City

Very impressed with the subs. The way they were running up and down was very good.

They ran up and then ran down again. They looked in control and showed good vision and we're always available.

Good engines too.

Dire 45 minutes. Not one shot at Goal. As bad as it gets.

It's not too good listening to the 2 biased piemen on BBC Lancs either.

PNE very well organised. Our strikers in particular are getting no space at all, having to take the ball with back to goal and aren't able to turn.

We look so lethargic though, we need to play faster and counter-attack before they get back and shape up. At the moment when Allsop gets the ball he's just standing there for an age while they get back in their shape.

Yes, I do. Not been impressed with Swanson at all, the midfield are completely static, lost the midfield battle, no ones particularly pressing, no ones winning second balls. His running also creates space for others.

We are effectively playing 5 defenders and a deep midfield. He had better change it soon because its drab and ineffective.

I'm struggling to name one player who is having a good game. Possession stats must be poor. No crosses and no shots. A recipe for disaster.

To be honest Thomas is no game changer. He may link with the forwards marginally better but the performance level all over the park is dreadful.

Wing back system isn't working because they are pressing us high up the pitch and also no-one is supporting Haynes down the flanks. Swanson is very lightweight too. Add to this that our passing had been woeful and it paints a very depressing picture.

Oh I agree with that. He's not a game changer and they're all dire. But we're giving Kilkenny acres, and o'brien struggling to get into advanced positions and Haynes being exposed by Swanson.
